Did you know that a woman is born with all of her eggs?
As a fetus, you have the most eggs you will ever have, about 6-7 million, and no new eggs are produced after that time. At birth, you have about 1 million, and then by puberty, approximately 300,000 remain. Of these, 300-400 will ovulate in their mature form.
