Prolactin ivf

Can I still do ivf with a prolactin level of 38? Already did mri scan that was clear and cabergoline was just started. My cycle starts October 4th and I’m scared that ivf is gonna be delayed again cause of my prolactin

Yes, I did. My RE wasn’t concerned about my prolactin because it goes up when you’re pregnant, my levels were in the low 200s and my transfer was a success.

Look at Fertility IQ and SART. If you don't get any first hand here, try Reddit.

Started my CD1 before transfer!

First time I’m ever been excited to start my AF! Started my first dose of birth control. This means my body is preparing for transfer coming up and I couldn’t be more happy about it. It’s my first ever transfer and I feel so positive about it. I’m nervous for sure, but I’ve wanted this baby since I was a child. Can’t wait to have my BFP!

Transfer 9/17!!!

My first transfer is tomorrow! I’m so excited an nervous! We’ll be transferring one embryo per my clinic’s policy. Even though I’m secretly hoping for twins (please no negative vibes about twins or two embryos, thank you). I’m looking forward to tomorrow and nourishing myself during the tww.

Yes, congrats! I took a trigger 14 days ago. I took a test today as I couldn’t wait. This is 7 days past a 5 day embryo transfer. Do you think I can believe this is real and it’s not still my trigger? 7 years I’ve been trying and I just can’t believe it xxx

Starting ivf tomorrow

I am starting IVF tomorrow. Starting with estrace for a week then will start injections a week or so later. I am 37 years old with low AMH and high FSH and endometriosis. I also suffer from pretty bad anxiety mostly health related anxiety. I am so nervous. I am afraid I am going to feel really sick or out of control or make my emotions so bad that I start having panic attacks. I don’t know if I can handle it but I am forcing myself to do this and be an adult. I’m afraid also of gaining a lot of weight. Anyone have any words of encouragement? Am I going to feel horrible and lose my mind?

Take it one day at a time! It can all be so overwhelming. I felt more emotional certainly during stims but it fluctuated. I tried to stay distracted and it went by fairly fast! Other than a little more emotional I had some bloating after retrieval. Overall mild symptoms. Some people do have a little weight gain & others dont or have temporary weight increase from the bloating but I actually lost weight, I didn’t change anything during and stayed on my same routine. So symptoms can vary so much. Try to stay positive and stay busy to keep your mind distracted and before you know it retrieval day will be here! Everyone’s story and challenges are different and one can’t be compared to the other or next. All the best!

Transfer today

Had my first ever transfer this morning. It was an early stage blastocyst. Not sure of the grade. I had Mcdonalds chips afterwards. Also have an acupuncture appointment soon. Has anyone got any.tips what to do to help implantation? Any transfer buddies? :)

Me

Congrats on your transfer! I’ll be crossing my fingers for you! I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my first transfer. Unfortunately, there really isn’t anything you can do to help implantation but I did all the silly little superstitious stuff JUST IN CASE 😅 I ate McDonald’s fries immediately after transfer, pineapple core everyday, kept my feet warm, and took it easy until I got my positive test. Wishing you so much luck! Keep us posted!!

Ivf cycle buddy ??? September 30th start

First time IVF journey

I just had my first embryo transfer this past September 3rd. I’m feeling some changes down there. Like puffiness. We are doing natural transfer so I’ve been doing progesterone suppositories every night. Could this be causing the puffiness? Also have had some cramping so I pray it’s my little embryo sticking. Also is there a way to change on your profile into that you are doing IVF?

I had a lot leftover too. IVF clinic wouldn’t take them and neither would my primary- it’s too much of a liability. Totally agree though- IVF is so expensive. If we could help someone out by providing unused meds and know they weren’t being wasted, that’d be so great! I ended up bringing them to my doctor and putting them in their “medication discard” box. (Kaiser) 😞

Early embryos with no grades 👏

I recently had egg retrieval and mange to get 14 eggs and 9 were mature. 6 made it to day 3 and got 3 early blastocyst at day 5.It will be an FET for me but they said it's an early blastocyst so they couldn't give grading as they were slow growing embryos. I'm scared as they said they are slow growing. It's my second cycle and I'm just exhausted with this process. Anyone had sismilar slow growing embryos that came up to a successful pregnancy??

I went for treatment at Ark in Athens with Dr George. I'm pregnant after my first round. The care was outstanding and everyone was so friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Seems most people get positives around 5-6 days. We just did our 2nd and never got a faint line, all negative. Crossing my fingers for you that you’ll see something in the coming days but I don’t see anything on your tests yet. When is your beta?

I did 200mg of oral progesterone until about 11 weeks of pregnancy when the placenta took over progesterone production. My son is now 2. :)

Grants

Does anyone knows if they are grants in mn that help with ivf fees.
