I dont know if what I said is bad...

Jaxon (my 9yo son)said to me with tears falling down fast 😭😭😭😭

"I wish you and my daddy were still together so I can be with both or you at the same time."

I said " even though we don't love each other like husband and wife anymore it does not mean we don't love you. We both love you just as much as we did when you were born, that has not and will never change." Then I explained to him what God meant when He said "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THY SELF".

I told him that I am trying hard to forgive him for what he's done in the marriage. And I hope he forgives me for what I've done..."

I don't know if what I said is a right thing to say to a 9 year old. I hope it wasn't the wrong thing to say.

If I did a wrong thing I'm going to cry bc I might of just ruin what he thinks of his dad... If I said something wrong please help me try to fix it. I feel like a bad mom now 😭😭😭😭😭

Jaxons dad didn't come pick him up today and he's very heartbroken, because he just figured out that his dad never wants to spend time with him. I tried explaining the divorce to him in a way that didn't tell him that his daddy abused me. I just don't know how to tell him anything without his heart crushing and it crushes me to see him like that.... things are getting worse bc his dad told me that he didn't want Jaxon every other weekend anymore . He only wants Jaxon once a month during the school year ONLY and he wants Jaxon for the whole summer... I'm bummed bc I'm the one who has to tell him and break his heart, yet again... I don't want to break jaxons heart... I don't know how to tell him because he's going to be so devastated.

I think I should get Jaxon into counseling. But I can't afford an expensive one and I need it to me little to no money.. Do y'all think the school counselor would help with this problem? I don't know what to do anymore. I might as well be a robot that can't do nothing bc that's exactly how I feel... Please help
