Lol I’m so sorry guys I’m the absolute worst! My life has been so crazy lately. I keep starting my story on here and then I get busy and never finish it haha.

So anyway I don’t know if you remember but I was pretty depressed last year, on anti depressants and such. My marriage was tanking and I was dealing with the sexual harassment stuff. It was a pretty rough time for me. So anyway, I went on that 2 month course in for the army away from my family and everything blew up. My husband (who deals with ptsd) was definitely not ok alone, which I feared. After about a week he went off the deep end. Drank himself into a coma every day. Started doing drugs in the house with the kids there. He was horrible to me, always yelling and verbally abusing me. It was a total nightmare. I’ve been dealing with verbal/emotional and physical abuse from him for a long time but always held on thinking that sometimes it was good (he’s also bipolar) and also thinking that it was his ptsd and not his fault. I also thought he was a fairly good dad so I didn’t want to take the kids away but obviously this wasn’t the case while I was away. He was verbally abusing my child, telling my son that I didn’t love them anymore, tellin. Him he was going to kill himself. It was horrible. About halfway through the course we decided to get divorced (he assumed I was cheating anyway 🙄) but I couldn’t do it anymore. Anyway, I met someone while I was there going through similar issues with an overly controlling and abusive wife. We bonded and became very good friends and helped support each other through the remainder of the course, motivated each other to continue on. We spent every minute together when we weren’t working. I guess we were having an emotional affair... never physical however. I realize it was wrong but I was hurting bad. When the course was finished I was in Halifax overnight waiting for my flight and he ended up staying with me overnight when we of course finally hooked up. I was going to Ontario and he lives in new brunswick so we didn’t know if we were going to see each other again or not. At that point we decided we wanted to make things work. I went home and my husband moved out and a couple of days later Andrew (the new guy) came to Ontario to stay with me for a couple of weeks. He went home and, although he had already told his wife it was over while he was away, he reinforced it and left her. This was the fourth time they had broken up in the last year. That’s a whole other story. Anyway we had two wonderful weeks and the weekend before he was going back home he said I was acting different and he thought I was pregnant. Of course I denied it, I mean it had taken me almost a year with my husband trying to get pregnant with my daughter. I got a test anyway and bam, super strong line two days before AF was due. This means I got pregnant that first night we hooked up in Halifax 🙄 of course lol. We talked about our options but Andrew and I decided we really wanted to have this baby and make everything work out. Not how I expected things to go or how fast but I think sometimes life takes you for a loop. It was a rocky start to the pregnancy, lots of spotting which I never had before. I guess I had a hematoma under the placenta. I was very stressed out too, especially because I was still trying to become an officer at work and I was afraid pregnancy would ruin that. I was also now a single mother of two which is exhausting on its own and my ex was pretty much useless. Andrew wanted to help but he lives 12 hours away and only came down every few weeks for a couple of days. I had to do a physical test for work at 10 weeks pregnant which was challenging but I was hiding the pregnancy. I found out in May that I got the job. I’m being promoted to officer (lieutenant) for the military police. A couple weeks later they found out about the pregnancy and tried to take it away but I fought them with the human rights act and discrimination laws and won so I got it back. I should be promoted in the next couple of weeks. Im also trying to get moved to New Brunswick to be with Andrew. His kids are there so itseasier for me to move to him. He has two little boys so with this baby we are up to 5! Our own little Brady bunch. But we are both so happy. Way happier than before! And I’m due in December but it will be a scheduled csection this time so most likely mid November. Sorry about the novel, I think that’s it for now but if I remember more I’ll add it haha. Itsbeen a crazy few months. I’ve been dying to tell you guys but you can see why it’s taken me so long. This is the short version haha. I have time while my son is in getting assessed for Asperger/autism. Hope you ladies are all doing well!
