Does anyone else struggle with weight loss or trying to keep motivated?

I need everyone’s tricks , tips or whatever you do to keep motivated!!!

Here’s a little about myself, and when I say little you’ll probably be reading this for a while, so sit tight 😂

Let me start off with, I maintained a weight of 120-125 for about 6 years (I was also around 16ish, 21 now! )

At age 16 I got in a birth control to try and regulate my periods bc I would some times go months or even a year with out having a period, and when I did it would be horrible !!

I switched from two different ones one was I think seasonique ** spell check

And I don’t remember the other one ! Both pills

As I started to take them I noticed a little weight gain, I didn’t think much of it bc if I gained I always almost lost it over night! Well that wasn’t the case here

So I decided I would stop taking it bc I felt that was best for myself... then it went down hill from there

The weight gain all came like crazy!! I didnt have my period at all!! And if I did it was spotting for like 1 day.. so I just went in about my life until I went to my recent doctor visit and they did the weigh thing and I was 145.. in a matter of like 7 months!! To me I thought that was a shit ton! So they told me as I get older peoples metabolism change . But that didn’t explain the periods. But hey I wasn’t complaining at the time!

Let me jump a few years later, now weight probably like 175ish?? (Age 18) And I’m like alright this cannot be from my metabolism!! So I demanded blood work!! Blood work came back they I have “hypoactive thyroid” they put me on pull to help regulate my hormone or whatever and then I stopped taking them for like 6 months bc they made me feel so sick and so tired and I over all just wasn’t feeling like I needed to take them so they waited another two months do draw blood work and they said my levels were perfect ( mind you I wasn’t on any meds at the time for 7 months) so my doctor gave me the ok to stop taking them and that they would check in another six months to see if it was still leveled ( IT WAS)

FAST FORWARD

age 20 weight (196)

Woke up with a really sharp pain in my stomach and wouldn’t go away so I decided to go to the doctor the next morning, and they did a ct scan and my liver was super Inflamed, also told me I have a fatty liver...

So ive been trying to lose weight but I find it extremely difficult to stick to a diet and find it nearly impossible to lose anything. Idk what to do!!

I’m 21 now and currently weight 204.. and I just can’t understand why I keep gaining...

please give me your advice!
