Im sorry in advance this going to be long.

This story is not about me but its about my mum.

Shes 50 years old and been married for 7 months her first marriage.

She has known her now husband for just over 3 years now. Lived together for just over a year.

Now heres the story, and i would like everyones opinion on this please!

I guess i will give a quick infil, so my mum was going on dates trying to find herself a partnereven a friend just someone as mum had no one other than myself and my little sister who is now 13 yrs old.

One day she had organised to meet this guy for a drink, but then she wasnt going to go as she was fed up with meeting people and them just being weird or desperate.

I had recently just gotten my licence at 18. I told my mum she was going that this could be the one and tgat i would drop her and pick her up when im finished with my friends so she went.

I didn't mind her partner before tgey were married but since being married i dont like him, he thinks he knows everything, if my mum tells me something that is serious talk he will repeat it and drag it on and on to me personally i just do not like him.

They always seem to be fighting and arguing, there was a stage where they would argue and i would recieve txts and calls from my little sister upset because they were arguing or fighting etc.

So i dont like him as is but i put it aside for my mum and i dont really see him much anyway as i live with my own partner and baby.

So.....

Way before i was born (im now 21 with my own 5 month old beautiful baby girl ❤💞🤱😇) my mum landed herself with a bloke who bashed her.

Im sure as many could imagine its not something you forget, and you would never forget that person either.

So roughly a month or so ago now herself and husband were shopping and my mum came face to face with the bloke from many years ago who beat her.

The bloke didnt say anything to her and probably didnt even recognize her.

My mum told her husband about what this guy had done to her...

Later on (i can not remember if it was the same day or a few days later) my mum and her husband had a fight (argument)

Out of anger her husband said something along the lines of "no wonder you were bashed" my mum was pretty upset at this and told me about this.

I have never been so angry i have never hated anyone so much, already not overly liking him i now hate him. How can you say such a thing to someone who you say you love and that being my mum i was furious. And in honesty i Will never forget that.

There has been many times my mum has told me that hes a dick or hes a fu**wit and she misses her old home etc etc.

May i akso quickly add, he has 2 boys one 13? And one 15?

Gis youngest son has ADHD and he hasnt seen him in some time as the son does not want to see him because of many things.

But the oldest spends most of his time at his dads place and my little sister lices tgere permanently as she doesnt have a dad in the pic but spends time at my place too.

There is currently a lot of stress at the house as they are going through 2 court cases ome about my little sister and her father and the other about mums husbands younger son.

Now the issue is i feel my mum is not seeing what i can see from this "marriage" which to me i feel its just not good.

Its not what marriage should be and i feel as though theu rushed in to everything way to quick.

My mum even quit her job that she loved to move in with him.....

I can understand people say things out of anger and no relationship is perfect.

But is it just me or is there someone else out there who agrees with me.

I would love to hear everyones opinion on this
