Ok ya’ll I need help.

I am black and married to a Caucasian man. A SOUTHERN white man.

His family had taken a LONG time to get used to me. They aren’t bad people but they used to say the “N” word a lot and thought all minorities are lazy and stupid.

Well I came into their family as a calm, gentle kind person. I went to college and graduated from pharmacy school. I don’t act crazy and I’m just a normal person. So they eventually came around and are nice to me (to my face at least).

But my brother in law (the oldest one) used to hate me entirely. He would always say really rude and racist things towards me whenever my husband wasn’t around because he knew I wouldn’t cause a scene. When I would tell my husband what his brother said afterwards he thought I was lying or exaggerating (his Brother would say off the wall shit that did sound made up) he thought I was trying to drive a wedge in between him and his family (which I wasn’t!)

Well now after 10 years, my BIL not only acts like he likes me, he acts like he loves me! It’s weird as hell and now he will hug me passionately when he sees me, rub his hands up and down my back, whisper compliments in my ear and makes me a plate of food at get togethers (which he doesn’t even do for his own wife!)

He is creeping me out because he went from one extreme over the other. He even told me how big his penis was when his wife and my husband were in another room one day.

I am not confrontational and I don’t want to make my husband hate his brother because we are finally getting along. But I also don’t want him to think he can touch me all the time and do special favors for me. I just want us to have a normal healthy brother and sister in law relationship.

What should I do??
