Puppy won’t eat!

Hey guys so I’m wondering if anyone has went through the same thing as me. I got my black lab puppy at 8 weeks from a breeder. He’s perfect. He had no problems with food at all. But with his stool would constantly be loose and then it randomly went back to solid. I had to get his second round of vaccines and so i fed him his normal 2 cups in the morning and went to his appointment. He got all his shots and when we came back I gave him a cup of food (which he never has lunch) because they told me he is slightly underweight. That night he didn’t eat, he just slept (from the shots) and the next morning he wouldn’t eat breakfast either. Which was bizarre. I noticed his arm was blown up from the distemper shot and I called the vet and they said it’s normal and to bring him in for pain meds and nausea so he can eat and not be in pain. So I did just that. His arm swelling was gone but he still wasn’t eating. At that point it’s been a couple of days. Since his vaccines he would only eat a 1/4- 1/2 cup a day. I took him to the vet (day 5 now) spent 8 hours in the lot freaking out, spent $800. They did X-rays and blood work. Everything came back normal. His organs are fine, no blockages. They gave me an appetite stimulant, it worked for 2 days and now It’s not again. I tried switching the brand of food several times (none of switch cause diarrhea it’s still solid) I tried home cooked remedies. The only dog food I haven’t tried is Royal Canin. but for human food I’ve done, rice chicken ground beef (he liked the ground beef) chicken broth bone broth cottage cheese milk eggs yogurt peanut butter. He went to my dads while I was at work and my puppy didn’t eat his own food but ate my dads dogs adult food. He ate over a cup. More than he will ever eat of his. The doctors don’t have any answers, so I guess I’m asking. Anything I haven’t tried? Any vitamins? Should I do royal canin? Vet keeps saying he’s extremely picky. But my boy needs to eat adequately.

We adopted this beauty this weekend. He is a Great Dane mastiff/lab mix we named him Poseidon. He loves water and baths.

Fish tank experts

So I've had a fish tank almost a yr now. I do clean it but with the gravel over time the leftover food and fish particles float to the bottom. I'm wanting to give them a deep good clean. Would it be ok if I remove the gravel and then use my vacuum suction cleaner I have to remove the remaining debre? Is it even necessary to have rock or is it just for show?

Spayed after care

I took our kitten to get spayed today and tried to keep her as relaxed as possible and took away some toys that make her super active. Within 2 hours of being home she somehow fell into the toilet. Does anybody know if this could have a negative effect? The vet said to keep it dry for a while so I just want to make sure and know what to look out for.

Pets and kids

Ho guys just want to hear everyone advice around owning many pets and juggling family life/responsibilities. I currently have a 22month old child and we are also ttcing for number 2. I have a cat, 3 ferrets and am hoping to adopt 2 guonea pigs. Do you have many pets and children ? How do you manage your scedule routine etc?

I got a new puppy a month ago and I'm already ready to give her away its taking forever to house train her cause anytime i put her on the pad she thinks I want to play then runs off and pees or poops on my floor its so annoying so know after feeding her I put her right back in her cage cause I'm tired of cleaning my floors. But I feel bad because I don't wanna keep her locked up in her cage all day

I almost lost this beautiful girl

Last Tuesday she seemed really tired and weak. Soon she was falling down and to weak to walk much. I was so scared. Took her to the vet. They said she had some parasite attacking her red blood cells. She was extremely anemic and her billy Rubin was up. The vet said she had so little blood left in her body that if we stress her her might just pass out and die. He gave her medication and she is much better already.

nail caps for cat?

I have a 5-6ish month old cat that is tearing up our furniture with her claws.😩 I really don’t want to get her declawed so I’m looking for nail caps for her that will stay on and are good quality. Does anyone have any recommendations or what I can do?

Need to put my dog up for adoption

Needing to find a new home for my dog Jewels I love her so much and it really hurts to have to give her up. She is about 5 years old I got her when she was 6 months old she loves to run, escape out of the fence, and eat lol. We had our first son almost a year ago we want more children in the near future she has been territorial towards our son when he crawls next to her or to the baby gate where she is on the other side she snarls and snaps at him she has never bitten him but my husband and I don't want her to get to that point we cant just leave her outside and I have tried separating them it isn't working and like I said we would like more children in the future. She is German shepherd mix.

Late valentines day post

I know valentine's day was Friday but just wanted to share what I got. We picked up my puppy, which we have been waiting for since october ( she was well thought out and planned and paid for before she was even born ), we found out a month after this I was pregnant :P but still didnt stop us from getting her, I also got flowers and chocolate from my man 🥰 I'm a pretty happy gal that's for sure even thou the last few days have been quite busy with having 2 kids already and a younge puppy working on house training. But heres a few pictures of our new beautiful little fur babe :)
