Feeling kind of down...

Hey y’all, just got my cd3 results back and my fsh is 12.3, which is higher than the last time we did cd3 bloods (in March, 11-7). I’m 31, been ttc about 19 months. Had one mc at 10wks back in August. We’ve been treated with clomid+trigger the past few months and each time I’ve had at least one large mature follicle, and my mid cycle bloods usually show normal fsh levels. Am I getting myself worked up prematurely? Just reading up on what it could mean and I’m starting to worry that I might have diminished reserves...Just so frustrating that we were able to get pregnant the one time and just can’t seem to make it happen it again. Thanks ladies 😊

I’d get your FSH tested again. Sounds like you already know they can fluctuate from month to month- but maybe seeing the lower number will make you feel a little more at ease? I had my FSH checked in April- 29.7, and then again last month- 17. Still high, but hoping it continues to go down. Good luck!!

Naturopath? Acupunture?

Has anyone conceived using “complimentary medicine” (my doctors term, not mine), supplements, Acupunture, etc.? My AMH came back 0.03 and FSH 29 (it was 7 2 years ago). We aren’t wanting to try IVF as our chances are the same as trying naturally (low 5-10%), but we somehow conceived our son 2 years ago.Just wondering if “complimentary medicine” might help us conceive #2.Any success stories out there?

FSH 75.5

I am 30 years old trying for our first. My FSH, TSH and prolactin were drawn cd 18. FSH was 75.5. ... TSH was 4 ... Prolactin was 7.3. (My FSH in summer of 2018 was only 5.1. I have cycles anywhere from 22-27 days and got my levels checked cause I had a 14 day cycle last month. )I of course freaked out and called my doctors nurse whom took two days to get a hold of him because he wasn’t in clinic. He is rechecking my FSH tomorrow and checking my AMH but wants to talk in person and soonest available appointment is a week away. I’m looking to see if anyone has had a ridiculous FSH like mine and it was a fluke or someone who went through this and what your options were with an FSH so high. I saw one poster mention a simile scenario but that’s it in my 3 days of frantic internet research. My anxiety is through the roof and I just want to know what ways this could all go. 😭

Hi, I’m proof that you can have a baby with high fsh.Since having my daughter 5 months ago my periods have gone back to their wacky 35 plus days.I know it’s frightening as I too searched the whole net wondering what was going on.I was told I’m in early menopause! You’ve got to get that egg ramped up that’s all!Once it’s released you’ve then got to make sure you catch it.As long as your having periods, you’ve got a chance!

Elevated FSH that’s NOT related to AMH or ovarian reserve

What can cause elevated FSH that’s not related to how many eggs are left?

FSH fluctuates every month. One month I was at a whopping 19!!! The next month it was below 11... but i am also 42, so much older then you. You may want to get another test done in a few months. Good luck!

Do you know your AMH level?

Lowering FSH !!

Hi ladies, I know my levels are not that high but it still worries me that they are high. I have taken letrozole a fee months ago for six months and nothing so now I think I’m going to start clomid. I’ve just turned 34 and been trying for my second child for 4 years.

Lo

Just out of interest, how did you lower your fsh? I know the feeling of trying for a long time for a second baby. I’m in the same boat but my fsh is much higher than yours. Hopefully they can give you clomid or a similar drug and it’ll help 🤞🏻

I’m 10dtp3dt today. I feel like my line should be darker? My first IVF cycle ended in MC after very starting with extremely low HCG. Anyone has similar line with positive outcome?

My fsh was 12, which is considered high, but just met with a specialist and she did an ultrasound and said I have a lot of eggs and a large reserve. So maybe meet with a specialist and do an ultrasound for peace of mind. My number wasn’t vindictive of my eggs quantity or quality

FSH high on day 7?

My FSH came back high (12.6) on day 7 of my cycle. My RE says I have premature ovarian aging... I’m only 31 and freaking out (like really really freaking out). Does it matter that he didn’t test on CD3? I know I wasn’t close to ovulation when he tested (I don’t ovulate until like CD21)... but when my ob-gyn tested me a couple months ago my FSH was only 4.9. Still waiting for the AMH result.Anyone else have a similar experience?! SOS

I’m 30 and just had a very similar experience. I’m ttc number two and got blood work done ( it’s only been four months but I was getting impatient ). My fsh was 12 and amh 6.2. Which made me panic and immediately regret even testing because it just caused me more stress. But my son is only 19 months. I couldn’t imagine my numbers changing that much from 28-30. And my cycle was probably even more erratic then. I got my bloodwork done on day 3 of this cycle. Hoping this month is when I conceive, and won’t have to think about my numbers again!

Ways to Naturally lower FSH

Any recommendations to naturally reduce FSH? Mine was just a 12- I’m30 years old and have a 19 month old son. I never did bloodwork before him and conceived him right away ( even with erratic cycles). My cycles range from 29-40 days. Usually around 34 days. Could it Just have been a fluke? But anyways feeling more stressed and worried with the results. I regret testing honestly. I have been ttc for four months. Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Hi I have high fsh too I saw I. A YouTube video that taking vitex may help reducing high fsh I started taking it from today after consulting with my obgyn. I am going to get a re test done next month to see if it was just a fluke last month. I heard acupuncture is also one of the natural things that can help. Let me know if you hear about any other natural remedies. Good luck

High-ish FSH, good AMH

I just got my results back but unfortunately cannot speak to a doctor about it until mid January as they are booked up. Here are my cd3 results...btw I’m a 32 yr old with 1 mc and 1 ectopic. AMH: 2.82FSH: 8.8Estradiol: 57Prolactin: 19TSH: 2.8From what I can tell from online my FSH is on the higher side but the internet seems divided on this (as do some posts on this group). I read some places under 10 is good, but other places say for my age I should be in 7 range. Anyone have similar results and get pregnant? What are your doctors/ your own research saying??? I’m still TTC#1... 😢Also I started coq10 after I got these results so hoping that makes a difference...

FSh level

I took an FSh test but not on cycle day 2 or three I’m actually ovulating I think . It was ran in accident with other labs I needed. My FSh was 6.8.... is that okay ?

High FSH, Low AMH

Hi everyone I just joined this group and so happy I found it! I’m 33 years old, about 3 months ago we found out that I have high FSH (12.0) and low AMH (1.01), we just started a new protocol this week with FSH injections, a trigger shot and IUI, anyone had success with these kind of numbers? Any insight/advice is most appreciated :)

I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure last year (I was 27 at that time), and I got pregnant naturally. The same month as I got pregnant I did a hormone test ( cycle day 2) my fsh level were at 35 and amh level at 0.1. Today I have a three months old son❤️ So I wouldn’t worry too much about the test results, because I was told I would never get pregnant with results like mine and I did.

High FSH in response to Clomid?

I've been taking Clomid for the past two cycles and I got my day 3 blood results back today and my FSH has skyrocketed from 17.4, last month it was also high at 17.3, and the month before (before I took Clomid) it was 6.3. Has anyone had this kind of response to Clomid? My doctor asked me to come in for a consultation next week to discuss the results and possible IVF. I'm just worried I'm not even a good candidate for IVF if my response to Clomid has been so terrible...feeling really down..tomorrow is my birthday and I was just hoping for a tiny bit of good news today :(

Yes , clomid month fsh 12.9 off meds went down to 9 .My ivf doctor said clomid had nothing to do with it but sure does because I tested it ..... needless to say I dint Trust him and canceled my ivf ...🙄

IVF for high FSH

Im 30 and I found out today that my FSH is just under 10 which is on the higher side, but that my estrogen is also extremely high. My doctor mentioned that I may not be a good candidate for IVF because of this. Does that sound right? Has anyone else heard the same? I also have endometriosis and possibly a bicornate uterus and miscarried last year followed by 13 months of ttc with no luck so feeling really hopeless. Any insight or success stories?

I don't know about not being a good candidate, but I do know your FSH is probably significantly higher than what the tests yield. Since your estrogen is so high, they say that suppresses your FSH number. I didn't have high estrogen, but for my second cycle of IVF, I did HGH injections and that took my FSH from a 15 to a 3. I believe it helped the quality of my eggs immensely!

Currently 57 days on me period some please help me read my results

I know they are in rage i have a trans vaginal ultrasound hubby and i started to conceive in august last LMP 7/23/19

My FSH was 39! I conceived naturally with dhea and coconut oil. I’m 7 months pregnant now at 39 years old.I’m not sure I believe in this fsh testing as it seems to scare you and push you into the IVF sector which = money!
