Some starter pictures.

Got a canon PowerShot SX420 IS and took some pics today. Any tips or tricks on lighting or editing would be very appreciated. I used to take pictures and then stopped for a couple years. I know all I can do is practice but I'm very open to advice.This last one i took I was about 200+ feet away from the truck.

Newborn picture dilemma

My photographer just sent me this:Just wanted to run this by y’all. I am around sick people every day here at clinic. No known coronavirus at this time. I understand if you would rather use a photographer that not in healthcare. I would feel awful if I got any of y’all sick. Idk what I should do. What would you do? The only other photographer I know of around here is married to a doctor so it would kind of be the same situation. My baby girl will be a week old tomorrow and I really want to get her photos done soon but don’t want to risk her getting sick. Any advice appreciated thanks!

Help with photography

Ok I have a question my pics look really good after editing on my computer but when I post them on Facebook they look way darker any ideas as to why?

Baby raccoons with white eye

Ok, so I got a chance to photograph these six baby raccoons that were bouncing around in my yard. I got some good shots but one of my favorites (not too good but you can see them pretty well) as a bad case of white eye. I’ve tried to use Facetune and other photoshop apps but they end up looking like demons with blank eyes. If there a good way to get rid of white eye without ruining the photo?

So i’m a photographer. I’ve been doing it for about 2 years now and i’m actually pretty cheap. Here are my prices: 15 mins - $50 (5-10 edited)30 mins - $75 (10-20 edited)45 mins - $100 (20-30 edited) 1 hour - $150 (30 + edited) Anything over an hour is $200Well I had this girl message me asking me to do:Maternity, gender reveal, baby shower, and labor. So just for labor i’m thinking $700 because it is a long process and most people around here charge way more than that and with everything is maybe $900. So when I started talking to the girl I could tell she couldn’t really afford that so me being me I told her I would do it for $300. So she messaged me the other day saying her gender reveal is tomorrow ( the 14th). Ok so we can do that. So then she asked how much it was going to be I told her we could break the $300 dollars up into each session so $300/4=$75. So $75 dollars each session. Her response: wow that’s a lot! I’m not really sure how to respond to that. Anyone have this issue and know of a nice way to respond to that? I really want to be like umm actually you are getting a discounted rate on these pictures and you should be grateful but I feel like that’s a little harsh. 😕

I took this while on a trip and we were passing through ATL..I added the mono filter for a “contest”
