Pacifier while trying to sleep

Hey everyone. My wife and I have a 2 week old. He’s happy and healthy. We think he’s starting a growth spurt because he’s been eating a ton.Ever since he’s been home with us we’ve tried to have him sleep in a bassinet by our bed. We put his passie in his mouth and he falls to sleep. However, the second the passie falls out he starts screaming bloody murder. We’ve been kinda throwing everything at the wall. But wondered if anyone here has any suggestions. My wife is constantly waking up to put his passie back in. We’ve tried different kinds of paddies and it seems that he sucks for 20 minutes, and right when he falls asleep it falls out and he wakes right back up screaming again. Please send any ideas our way!

When to move baby to own room

Hi everyone! My boy usually bedshares with me and has always contact napped. Lately he is doing so so well with napping in his crib in his own room and I am wondering when you transitioned your baby to their own room. We have a mini crib in our room but I think us moving around and our creaky floors in the room will wake him even with the sound machine going. I know there is a certain age recommendation but I’m just curious if you think 5 months old is too early.

Baby sleep disorder?

Has anyone dealt with a baby with a sleeping disorder? I’m so nervous that my baby has one.. he’s 5 months old and he does not sleep well at all. He’s up every 20-30 mins at night. He wakes up screaming most of the time and when he is sleeping he tosses and turns. We do everything we can in our bedtime routine to relax him and he goes to sleep full. We have only had 3 nights his whole life where he had a 4 hour stretch and it felt like a miracle.. I’ve been researching reasons as to why he isn’t sleeping and sleeping disorder pops up and has a list of things he does at night..

I also want to add that we have the room pitch black, white noise going, and a humidifier. He also sleeps in a sack to feel comforted.

My baby isn’t sleeping well..

My baby is 4 months old and he has never been a good sleeper. The longest stretch he’s had is two hours at a time. Now, he has only been sleeping in 45 minute/ 1 hour stretches and on worse nights only 20 minutes. Then he wakes up and takes forever to fall back asleep and so on. We have a full bedtime routine that should relax him and make him sleep well but it doesn’t help. He gets plenty to eat before bed as well. He sleeps in a sleep sack too. We feel like we have tried everything and nothing is working.. I know they go through a regression around four months but this has gone one since like week 3. Any advice or help???

I'm sorry to hear that your baby is having trouble sleeping. It can be really tough when you're not getting enough sleep yourself. It sounds like you're doing a lot of things right already, like having a bedtime routine and making sure your baby is well-fed. One thing you might try is making sure your baby is getting enough daytime sleep. Sometimes if babies are overtired, they have a harder time sleeping at night. You could also try different sleep training methods, like the Ferber method or the Weissbluth method. It's important to remember that every baby is different, so what works for one might not work for another. If you're feeling really overwhelmed, it might be helpful to talk to your pediatrician or a sleep consultant for more personalized advice.

Sleep behavior

My 4 month old has starting moving his head from side to side consistently while sleeping. Has anyone else’s baby done this? I’m kinda worried something is wrong.

6 month old won't sleep in crib

We have had a lot of success at getting our son to sleep in his crib but as soon as he turned 6 months he immediately wakes up screaming if put down in his crib. Other than safety reasons for him, I don't want him in bed with me because I have him all day and my back, arms and even abs are completely exhausted from holding him so I'd like at least the nighttime to be baby free. Has anyone else gone through this and is there any tips? His crib is in the room with us and the crying it out method has never worked, he somehow manages to scream louder and will never put himself to sleep + my husband works 16hr days so it's not practical.

Cosleep help!

I need any tips or tricks you have for getting my baby to sleep in his bassinet. He won’t sleep anywhere but in our bed and it scares me! We’ve tried swaddles, sleep sacks, red lights, baths, fully belly, lullabies, white noise… I’m at a loss. We’ve also tried putting him in there awake, drowsy and asleep as well.. he always wakes up ten minutes later screaming and then won’t go back to sleep

Baby wont sleep in bassinet.HELP.

Help! My 3 month old refuses to sleep in his bassinet at night and only wants to be in bed with me! We’ve tried everything we can possibly think of, swaddles, only putting him in on bassinet after he’s in deep sleep, putting him down drowsy and helping his fall asleep in it.. nothing works… he always wakes up 10 minutes later screaming. We have his lullaby going, white noise, he’s full.. idk what else to do

Bedtime routine

What is everyone’s bedtime routine? My boy is 3 months old and we started a routine a month ago and he is dead set on it, if we sway from it, he loses it but one thing I’ve read is to not feed them to sleep or they associate feedings with sleeping but that is the only way he really falls asleep without a waking up 5 minutes later screaming…so should I try changing this or just do what works for him?

Baby Hurting Head on Crib Walls While Sleeping

Hey lovely mommies, I’m a first time mon and i have a question thats been bugging me. I asked a question on here before and someone dismissed my question and replied extremely rudely, so I’m anxious asking another question. Im a first time mom so I like to have all the information before I change anything in my Baby’s routine. My 6 month old has been rolling in her sleep, and has hit her head on the crib sides multiple times. I searched up it I could put a bumper or something on the crib walls to prevent injury, but I found multiple articles advising against it as its not good for safe sleep. What has worked for you? Have you used a bumper in the crib? Is it safe for my baby if I install a bumper? Please guide me, as last night my daughter woke up crying again because she got hurt on the head. I can’t bear to hear her cry. I really hope that you guys can guide me, and not make me feel bad like my previous question. Thanks in advance for any help!

17 month old waking at 4:30

My tot has been waking anywhere between 4:30 and 5:30 for the past month and a half to two months. He goes to bed at 7. Last night I tried moving his bedtime to 8 and he woke up at 3:45 and wouldn’t go back to sleep for an hour and a half. Does anyone have any tips to help your kid sleep past 6am? He’ll fall asleep with me eventually but I use it as a last resort for us. I really want him to sleep in his crib again. He used to sleep great by himself up until then and idk what’s changed. It seems like a sleep regression but it’s been going on for way too long I think. I’m also trying to train him on one nap a day. He does need it but it’s hard with his nighttime sleep so thrown off to get him to take his nap closer to the afternoon because he’s trying to around 9. Sorry this is a long post.
