I have anxiety as well and I can very much relate. I had to take the communications class since bits required. Anyway, I stuck with it and it really helped me open up more. Don't quit. I'm sorry if this sounds rude but events don't matter (bdays, parties, holidays) when it comes to school.

You have to make sacrifices like that. Be it not going to parties or simply not watching tv or even deleting fb is a sacrifice you have to do in order to do good in school. You don't need them to survive. Health is always more important than school. It's always health>school/work>activities/events. Don't prioritize things that aren't important at all.

You gonna have surgery? Ok, email all professors. You have tests/homework? Email professors for it. You can take Tests online via blackboard, homework too..or just email. They should provide you with power points and everything as long as you have your proof. Make a buddy in all classes too. Surgery is only going to stop you from walking, it won't stop you from studying so no need to worry about falling behind.

If you can't handle 4 classes then what makes you think you'll do good being full time? Again, sorry if it sounds harsh but that's reality. Don't quit, you're in too deep to do so. Breathe and power through. You are halfway done with this semester. Next time do more research on classes like that before you get in. Try the site RateMyProfessor, best thing ever. Or just ask people in your current classes "what's your major? Oh cool, what classes are you taking? Oh is the professor for X class good?" You made a friend and got some info on a teacher, two birds with one stone 😜

Money is important for me too, I can't just drop a class. I need that financial aid. I also can't afford to fail a class. You got this.

1. Get rid of distractions and apply yourself

2. Breathe, if you also want to overcome this crippling anxiety then put yourself in situations like that and expose yourself to it. It will really make you feel a bit more comfortable. Think of your happy place.

3. Make friends with classmates, specially in the more social classes. You'll feel more comfortable. I usually do 1 on 1 in class and get to meet people that way instead of 1 to 50 (presentations), that makes me sick.

4. Don't quit.

Another tip is make a calendar or list of things you have to do like study, homework, projects with their dates. Arrange them from closest dates to furthest dates and work your way through homework like that. Don't do something that's due in 2 weeks when you have a test tomorrow basically. If you do that, you'll find lots of gaps for free time! Yay!
