Fertility Telephone Consultation UK help

Hi ladies, I finally have my initial telephone consultation with a fertility clinic after being referred by my doctor they have said to make sure my partner is also available for the telephone consultation. Does anyone know it I am allowed to do this by myself for any reason he can’t get it off work or must he join or they will re/schedule? Mindful it’s only a call and don’t want him to have a whole day off! His semen sample was all good from the doctor as were all my tests so far. Anyone’s experience with fertility consultations and appointments would be great thank you! Xxx

Line eyes or early faint?

Looking for some help first month on menopur and ovidrel so confused. So I had my Ovidrel injection 14 days today, I am roughly 10 DPO. I tested two days ago and it was a solid negative (same test) but today I see a very very very faint line, it is very light blue in colour and came up in right time, but could this still be my ovidrel? I’ve put photo in comments but it’s not the best photo. Any advice would be great! X

Bleeding after HSG

Is this amount of blood normal after HSG test? I also saw a Bit of blood in the toilet before I flushed. I had the test two days ago and starting bleeding today. I was spotting a bit yesterday too the day after.

ovidrel success first time?

Has anyone ever had success after their first trigger shot? We triggered 3 days ago and this is the longest two weeks of my life … could really just use some success stories

Hi Guys,Please help! I am 3 days past my 5day fresh transfer.I did my trigger shot on september 4th. That was 250mcg.This morning I had a faint line on my pregnancy test.Is this still the trigger in my system? Or could this be a positive? Clearblue digital was negative this morning. I am losing my mind 😩

Hi girls,Having fertility tests at the doctors blood tests all normal I’m worried about blocked tubes due to an ex boyfriend giving me chlamydia when I was younger. Doctors have referred me for an ultrasound. Has anyone had this? What does this check for and show? Thank you! X

BFP after trigger?

Hi ladies,Triggered with Ovidrel on 8/20 for my first time. With cheap tests, I tested stark white 9 days post trigger. Started seeing a line come up again this AM that’s still holding as of noon today. Also took a FRER to see how dark it would be to compare. Could this be the trigger or my BFP after infertility treatments? 🥺

Period after egg retrieval

I had my first egg retrieval 7 days ago after using Lupron to trigger. I’m now bleeding and think it’s a period. Is it normal to have a period a week after? I wasn’t expecting it until next week which would’ve been 2 weeks post ER.

Retrieval results!!

We had our egg retrieval yesterday! Way easier than I expected. The whole process went smoothly. They retrieved 21 eggs, 16 of them matured and 10 fertilized! Praying the majority make it to day 5/6!! We are 30 and this was our first ivf cycle. We have ttc for 8 years and I have PCOS and DH has some morphology issues. My doctor did an AWESOME job at not hyperstimulating me. I’m so impressed and grateful we didn’t end up with 40+ eggs. Praying we get exactly the healthy amount of embryos we need to start and complete our family ❤️❤️

Triggering tonight!!!

I’m SO STOKED. Overall I’ve had a very pleasant experience in terms of side effects…but this last stretch has been pretty intense in terms of the headache and general discomfort. But ultimately it’ll all be worth it. It’s been 11 long days of shots and 6 straight days of driving almost 3 hours (each way) for ultrasound and labs.

AMH levels

So back in 2019 ( I was 26 y/o at the time) I had my AMH levels taken at my first fertility clinic, while going under diagnostic testing to find out why we weren’t conceiving. It was 0.93 I was told by that RE, that I have a diminished ovarian reserve.I recently started to see another RE at a different clinic, who also just checked my AMH levels. It was 3.00 On my saline sonogram he also found that I have a total of 19 follicles 😳 which he anticipated only 5-10 given the prior AMH results.I am kind of in shock, and very confused by the large increase (not mad at all by it 😉) I am just curious, what could cause this? I was not doing anything special to make it increase! Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there anyone in the Sacramento CA area with a clinic recommendation? Currently with Kaiser but not happy with their “changes” in treatment since we had our son in 2019. Thank you!

So annoying!!

I’m supposed to be starting birth control any day now so I can do my 3 weeks and then start stims! My stupid period won’t start. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve had SUCH a regular period for the last couple of years…28 days on the spot…but now that I’m trying to do iVF, my cycle is like “nah, I’m feeling like 35 ish days instead “ 🤬 I’m not a patient person and it’s SO frustrating. 😩Also the anxiety of this all is just getting to me.

any Fertility treatment success stories??

Im currently on Metformin2x a day , Progesterone1xaday, Folic Acid, Vitamin D, E, and C 1xaday and took clomid 3x a day for 5days during my cycle in March. Did Follicle Monitoring and got the Ok signal to get the HCG shot last March 30th.... Anybody had any success the first time around? I also found out I had a retroverted Uterus, but was told my my Doctor that it shouldn't effect with conceiving My husband only comes home 1x a year bcuz of his work and we only have 2 tries before he leaves again 😩😩

Letrozole question

Has anyone ever been able to ovulate, but still got put on letrozole? My cycles are regular, and I ovulate on time.. after a year of TTC, we did have luck but we lost our son at 18 weeks due to birth defects.. so they’re starting me on letrozole to help us convince baby number two. Does anyone have any stories to maybe give me some hope?
