The summer of 2020 i decided to work on myself inside and out. Wasn’t working due to Covid which helped with my stress levels. Started working out ( nothing too crazy) , started a pcos friendly meal plan, and was taking supplements . I think at the time I was between 230-240 which is a lot for my weight also. I have always struggled with my weight and could never find the right thing to help me lose more then 5 pounds . I struggle with anxiety and depression as well but my mental state was great at the time . Diagnosed with pcos 3 years prior . I had only lost a small ish amount of weight when I found out I was pregnant . I believe the combination of changes I made helped me conceive . I lost weight at the beginning of my pregnancy but then started gaining sometime in my second trimester I believe . I think I gained around 30 pounds if that.

I had planned to restart my routine after baby but never did . Ended up with Covid 3 months pp. had to be hospitalized for a night and they found a PE and DVT as well. I had to be on oxygen once I left the hospital for a little bit and even after I was off I noticed I difference in my lungs and what I was able to do work out wise . I can’t remember how much I weighed at this time but I ended up getting pregnant with my second 8 months pp. Had to keep taking blood thinners through my pregnancy and shortly after .

Got pregnant in November of 2023 but sadly had a chemical . I wasn’t treating my pcos very well at the time .

Still never got back into my routine unfortunately . Tried to at the beginning of this year and couldn’t fight the months long fatigue I was battling with the time so I stopped . I listen to my body and don’t push it as that spikes cortisol levels and makes things worse .

Currently 15 weeks 4 days with what will be our third baby .

I always say I want to lose weight and have a healthier body before getting pregnant again and then it doesn’t work out that way . But my body did what it was supposed too for my babies I gave birth too and seems to be for this baby as well. My drs have never mentioned my weight either or made it sound like a problem. I personally know it is an issue that needs to be worked on though .

Do what feels right for you! Work on your health and if it happens it happens! See what your dr suggests and says about your concerns . Just know it is possible to have a healthy pregnancy with pcos and being on the bigger side .
