A month ago I was feeling so insecure about a man I was giving a ton of my attention to who I later found out…was dating multiple women. It hurt because he was giving such mixed signals and usually I don’t fall into that. He was also putting effort into dates with the others and minimal to no effort with me. So, that was hurtful.

I ended things with him and told him that I wouldn’t be an option. It was cordial. I’ve run into him since and we were totally normal. I felt like I dodged a bullet by just ending it before it got to a point where I got deeper feelings.🥴

I was at a point where I deleted all dating apps and just decided to NOT date. I felt at peace with that and that it would just happen.

Shortly after, a man approached me and I was so guarded. Within ten minutes I told him I wasn’t here for games (he didn’t deserve that) but he actually LOVED how real and up front I was. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

We’ve been talking for two months now. He puts in so much effort. He’s amazing with communication. He’s a gentleman, thoughtful, he compliments me and brings me flowers. He’s always planning future adventures and fun dates. It’s crazy and I’m almost in disbelief that this man just kind of fell into my universe.🥰

I’m sharing this story because one person can make you feel insecure and hopeless, but another can make you feel like you are worth it ALL. It’s okay to be guarded and it’s okay to be up front with what you want and don’t want. ✨

You deserve someone who makes you feel like you don’t need to look elsewhere. I think we all need that.♥️
