So a video pops up on my feed about std. I have always used protection with the exception of my long term boy friend. Well come to find out he never uses protection. Gross we are not together anymore but now I’m so scared he gave me something. I ran into him and he shares that he’s having sex with polyamorous plp without protection. He said about two girls and one set of lesbians that’s 4 people. Who is to say he was not doing that during our breaks ,cheating,or before we got together. I also find out he’s into hard drugs like cocaine, wax , idk if he used needless. Now if I have something I hope and pray is curable. I couldn’t live with myself knowing I have aids or HIV when I have been with 7 people two just one time protected. I have no criminal record a honor student I don’t do drugs snoke . I just got to law school for my whole life to be destroyed by some idiot guy I dated a year ago who lives in a granite shop where an are a was not being used and they made a room out of it.

i am so sorry i’m here posting again, i shaved which probably didn’t help the situation. but ive been worried about these littlebumps… just scared its herpes. i’m going to the doctor yesterday, does this look like herpes. i notice clear fluid. it’s a little itchy, no pain and no other symptoms.

I’m feeling a little stressed out I received only oral sex from a guy on 4/6. I had an OB appointment to discuss birth control and just got tested for everything while there and I was negative/non-reactive. Well a few days ago I’ve begun to feel off down there now I’m scared he could’ve given me something. I went to urgent care yesterday and I don’t have a UTI so they sent my urine off and I won’t know anything until Monday or Tuesday. The doctor tried to ease my mind tell me about a similar experience where she felt funny down there after a sexual encounter but ended up being ok. Had any of you ladies ever felt like u had an STD based off how you felt down there but it turned out not to be an STD? Also is giving oral sex the only way you could contract an STD in the throat to pass it to someone’s genital? He says I’m the only person he’s been giving oral to so I’m hoping I’m ok but at the same time men tell tales. Thanks I’m advance for any responses.

I’m hoping that’s the case because I’m so scared to have to confess my wrong doing and wondering if he’ll forgive me or leave me . Have any of you had experiences where u felt weird down there after a sexual encounter but had negative STD results?

Hi so recently my bf cheated on me and gave me chymidia I didn’t know until he confessed and I got tested and treated immediately this was my first time ever catching anything so it’s embarrassing. Recently I got a ct scan done with iodine then my outer vagina leg creases been hot and itchy then I see these two scratches I think I scratched my self but I’m not sure . I can’t follow up testing until I wait a month is this a std cut or scary cut ? Thanks

HSV & Antiviral Medicine Questions

Hi, so I recently got diagnosed with HSV-2 back in February, as there were 3-4 blisters on my vagina lip. The urgent care doctor prescribed me ACYCLOVIR to take 3 times a day for 10 days for that. I finished that, and the blisters cleared up and then I told my Primary doctor to prescribe me more to take on the daily to keep it dormant. So now I’m taking ACYCLOVIR 400MG one in the morning and one before bedtime. I’ve been doing this for the past 3 weeks now. I have had flu-like symptoms, nausea, and actually vomited once but I didn’t think nothing of it. But apparently those are the side effects while taking this medicine, which, ever since I’ve been taking this medicine every day it’s been making me feel horrible just about every day. I just noticed tiny bumps on my mouth lips this morning. I tried out some new Bath and Body Works (champagne toast) lip gloss yesterday, idk if I’m having an allergic reaction or not but my lips don’t hurt and they don’t really feel tingly. I just looked in the mirror and noticed the small bumps. Should I switch medicines? Tell my doctor? Idk what to do considering the fact that I thought that this medicine was working, but now I see tiny bumps on my lips…plus it’s been making me feel terrible.

I recently got the shot for getting rid of syphilis & after a few days I have started having brown, bad smelling discharge.. I just had a Pap smear and everything came up perfectly fine, just the syphilis. Is that just the shot getting rid of it? Surely the shot is working, but why this discharge?

TTC w/HSV-2??? TTC after MISCARRIAGE???

Hello, so I have 4 children (1 girl & 3 boys) and just recently had a miscarriage a few weeks ago. I bled really heavy for about a week and stopped bleeding. At this this last pregnancy, I found out that I had HSV-2 (as I had sore blisters on my vagina). I really want to try again for another baby, but I don’t want my current partner getting the virus as well. I’ve been taking acyclovir daily to prevent another outbreak and possibly minimize the chances of me giving it to my partner. It’s been about a week and this medicine doesn’t make me feel the greatest. Me and my partner haven’t done nothing in a while. He most likely (100%) doesn’t have it. I was hoping that this last miscarriage would’ve been my last baby and I would’ve been done having children, especially if it was the gender that I would’ve been okay with, plus also considering the fact that I found out that I’m living with this virus forever. But now it’s like I feel like I should try again for my ‘rainbow’ baby. I’m so confused on how herpes work. Am I contagious only during an outbreak? What are the chances of my partner getting it if I’m on antiviral medicine? I’m scared that he will find out that he got it because he sometimes goes to the plasma center to donate his plasma. My doctor didn’t really explain the virus to me well. Is HSV-2 found in the blood or the saliva? I’m so confused. Please help. And about when should my regular period begin? I’m just in shambles…thanks in advance everyone ❤️

I was basically forced into having sex but before that all happened I had went to the doctors and found out I have got 2 stds from an old partner I finished all my antibiotic but the sex took place on the 9th day of me finished my antibiotics I have been very itchy down there.. but I have no insurance what should I do? My vagina has been very irritated i recently had got tested because the person i was messing with for almost a year had lied to me about sleeping around with other people i had found out i had 2 stds and a yeast infection.. i have finished my medication for the yeast infection and i will be finishing my medication for the stds today… but it now feels like i might have an uti and i honestly don’t know what to do but I am in pain.

I’m posting anonymously because I just don’t want anyone to know … I’ve been in a poly relationship for a few months, I got tested dec 27th and was clean of everything besides BV, which is fine because I’m very prone to BV (I’m super sensitive) well fast forward to Jan 19th, I went to the gyno because I was sure I had BV again. I had got the full on testing of everything just to be safe. Results came back positive for BV and positive for chlamydia.. I’ve only been with these 2 people (1girl 1guy). The last time me and the girl had sex was in October, and since then I’ve only been having sex with the guy (my boyfriend). They both went and got tested January 21st and it came back negative for them both.. I’m at such a loss because now fingers are being pointed at me and I’m struggling so bad because this doesn’t make sense to me at all… I haven’t had sex with anyone else or done anything with anyone else.. is it possible this could be a false positive?? Im on the meds for it & I know it’s only spread through sexual contact/intercourse.. please help

Me and my partner used condoms, something went wrong, I tested positive for chlamydia 🙄 we were both treated and have had sex. Would gonorrhea be an issue? could he still have gonorrhea even though I only tested positive for chlamydia which we were treated for. Would I have had both stds?

Could my bf have givin me STD?

So a few weeks ago around the 3rd of December I started getting symptoms so I’m thinking yeast infection. I went and got tested cause my bf who I met on a trip, / and I were sexually active. But before I came to my trip I was getting freaky with an old fling. So my test came back positive for chlymedia. I called and told him cause I was really freaked out he said he hasn’t had sex in six months. So we both assumed it was me cause I was sexually active but I get tested between partners. Prior to my trip I had taken a full blown STD and STI test and was waiting for the result. I contacted my ex partner and told him to get tested. I recently got my results for my test and everything was negative and my ex sexual partner got tested and he was negative. I sent my bf a copy of the test and he didn’t say anything about it. Here I am feeling dirty and embarrassed about something that he could have given to me. I can’t shake this off. I need to talk to my bf about it. I know some men can carry it without showing any symptoms. I did get him treatment as well as I. He didn’t want to get tested cause he doesn’t like the dr and needles. The worst part about it is the shame and pain I went through. I was swearing off having sex cause it hurts so much. How do I bring this up?
