Screaming 24/7

Is it normal that my 17 month old daughter screams any chance she gets? She screams when we change her, when she eats, when we go into the car or the house, when we take her into the basement, when we try to encourage her to play with toys, when we try to practice walking, when we close the fridge.... literally everything that we do she screams. Is this a phase or should we be concerned?

Yes, mine definitely screams or fights with me on whatever we do anymore. All about that distraction, sing songs when changing diapers or she holds the diaper cream. Same with getting in the car seat, she has toys, cup, snack or if it’s really bad I’ll give her the hidden paci. It’s a phase

1 year old just needs daddy

My 17 Month old daughter is super clingy to daddy lately. He's getting a taste of being touched out and being needed 24/7 and he's not loving it 🤣 I can't help but giggle. Welcome to my life?

My son is like this lately and I LOVE it.

TTC again

We conceived our March 2020 baby our first try. We’ve been trying for three months and no dice. Let me say, I realize that this is nothing compared to how long some people try, but I’m still entitled to feeling what I feel. I’m 31. Cycles are always 27 days. Any tips?

Lo

And it’s totally normal to take at least 6m to conceive with a second pregnancy. 12m for a first. Fingers crossed for you.

Obsessed… with balls?

Anyone else have a kid who is obsessed with balls? Like to the point I’m wondering if it’s OCD. He wants to play with balls all the time, he says the word a million times a day. Will point to any ball/circle and say ball while wanting to touch it. I thought it would be a phase but it has been going on for a few months now. Is this abnormal?! I’m hoping I’m over reacting 😅

Flying with baby

I am flying soon with my 16 month baby from New York to Romania with a lay over in Amsterdam(it is a long flight) and I am wondering if should I buy her a seat? This is a trip I did not foresee. My dad is very sick and tickets are very expensive. I am flying with delta. I have few questions:1.I was wondering if do they accommodate you if there are empty seats during the flight? Meaning will they move me and my baby to sit together if there is an empty seat ? 2.Is it reasonable to hold her on my lap? She is a tall baby and she is 26 lbs 3. Do you need to cover the stroller at the gate when you check in? And do they give you your stroller back when you reach your flight connection? Please share any tips or any experiences you have flying with your baby/toddler. Thank you!

Bottle transition woes

So at my last dr visit, I was advised to get my LO off the bottle by 18 months. ( She's 15 months now). She will drink out of various cups with any other liquid but her milk has to be in her bottle. What have you used ?

Ha

Our little one went from bottles to the nuk trainer and shortly after that went straight to the sippys with the straws. We kind of just didn’t give her the option of the bottle. We did only a bottle right before bed and then phased that out pretty quickly.

Nexplanon removal

I'm hoping to get my nexplanon removed in a few months and hopeful start trying for baby#2. If you've had the nexplanon how long did it take you to get pregnant after getting it removed? Also were you actively trying or just if it happens it happens type thing.

Lo

Ya no. Definitely not for us. My first two were potty trained by age 3. That’s what works for us. Less then 2 is a no go for me.

Walking?

What age did your littles start walking? My daughter is almost 15 months and still not walking.

My daughter is 16 months and isn't capable of taking any steps independently yet; only clings onto furniture. We've come a long way though so I'm not worried. I'm just thankful she finally learned how to crawl. She was probably the last baby on this group to do that lol

Ka

Working on his canines now. Got his first 4 molars in lol so we're getting in 13& 14

I try new things I’m always cooking she don’t really seems to be interested an anything . Plus I’m pregnant again ... I’m devastated how can I be a parent when I’m failing my daughter now 🤦🏽‍♀️. Any tips or advice . No JUDGEMENT PLEASE

When my son wont eat what I make, I resort to oatmeal cause I know hell always eat that and that way hes not going hungry. But hes been pretty picky too and like you, I’m pregnant again so I have low energy for everything including making exclusive meals for him when I cooked something already. My son is on the skinny side but gaining. Hes in the 25 percentile for weight but the pediatrician says hes doing good. I always feel bad for him being so skinny but I know hes getting fed. Its just going to be a trial of introducing new foods and hoping he like it so I know what I can make that everyone can agree on.

Me

My baby’s 19 months. What I did was give him the bottle or cup and less breast until it was only at night. I pumped my milk for him until I started giving him whole milk. Then at night I gave him milk. Sometimes strawberry milk. Kept up with the routine and he was off the boob in less than 2 weeks. Good luck

Mine were born in 2009 (he’s 11 now), 2019 (he’s now 2), 2020 (twins are now 19 months - 13 month difference between my 2 yr old and them), and I’m due in May of 2022 again. ☺️❤️

Mamas boy

Am I a horrible mom for feeling closer to my son than I do my older daughter? She’s only 3, and he’s just a year. But he has my heart wrapped around that little tiny finger in a way I can’t explain...he filled a hole no one else could have.

Me

I’m closer with my 19 month old. My 4 year old and I were very close til my baby was born. Now he’s more independent but I make time to spend with him. Just me and him every day.

Still no period?

Has anyone else still not gotten a period yet? not pregnant, I’ve checked. My son is still nursing morning and night, sometimes a 3rd time on weekends when I’m with him all day. I’d like to be able to TTC again but seeming like this won’t be possible until after weaning. Just seeing all these other posts of women pregnant again and still nursing but I guess everyone is different!

I’m still nursing my daughter morning and night, sometimes midday at nap and no period. I nursed my son more frequently at this age and got my period sooner so it’s kind of freaking me out lol
