Periods coming and going

I had my baby May 13 and have been exclusively nursing. My period returned end of August (27th) and was very heavy. It’s now Oct 3rd and other than a few cramps, my period feels late. My husband had a vasectomy in June. I took a pregnancy test three days ago and it came back negative. I’m worried, though. Has anyone had their period come back and then skipped a month? No judgment please, only curious if this is normal with my period returning to normal.

My Preemie, IUGR May Baby

I developed preeclampsia. Went in for a routine ultrasound and they admitted me,I had emergency csection May 28 2022. She had severe intrauterine growth restriction, and was born 2lbs .4 oz, 14" long. She's now barely 4 months old. 9 lbs .4 oz and 20" long. She's tiny, but growing!

Chewing Bottle Nipple

Anyone else’s little one chewing on the bottle nipple? (my LO is formula fed now was pumped BF). She eats like 2 ounces then chews the nipple and repeats until she has finished her 5oz. I haven’t had my four month appointment yet and I will be asking at that appointment, but I was curious if anyone else has this problem. (To clarify, we already bumped up nipple levels and tried doing the snacking approach and it hasn’t helped.)

Tips for clogged ducts

Helpppp! I woke up with a big painful knot in my breast. I’ve put a warm compress on it,tried massaging it loose,put my Haaka on it,put my infant on it,put my toddler on it and nothing is helping! It’s so hard and painful

Went for his 4months doc appointment today he’s 16pound and 26in long! Love my big guy going to be starting purées tomorrow so excited for him to try some food

4 month sleep regression 🤦‍♀️

Did it hit ya'll like a ton of bricks? 😑 Went from 6-7 hour stretches at night to 4 hour stretches and fighting both naps and bedtime. Fingers crossed 🤞 it doesn't last long!

Giving baby food

Had our 4 month appt today. Doctor said it’s okay to start giving little one some food and give her cereal and oatmeal. Has anyone else started ? I’m nervous, but excited.

Fiancé taking baby out of state

So my fiancé wants to take our 4 month old breastfed son to Michigan for a weekend trip (his cousin is getting married and we’re in Rhode Island) I don’t feel comfortable with it we were both gonna go but now unfortunately we can’t afford a pet sitter due to unforeseen bills and he said he’ll just give him formula while they’re gone and I can enjoy a break from being a mommy. He’s not a great dad tbh like he’s good at playing with the baby and feeding him but I do 99.9% of the stuff for our baby. He freaks out anytime the baby cries for more then 2 minutes and will just dump him on me or put him in his crib and shut the door and go play video games.This would be his whole family there and 1st chance to meet our son and I obviously want them to meet him but I don’t want to entrust my baby with people I don’t know. I’ve never met them in our 2 years of being together only video calls! I just feel super uneasy about sending my baby on a plane with his dad for a weekend trip (leave 5pm Friday return Sunday at 11pm) whilst staying here alone sobbing the entire weekend and having to pump for the freezer instead of feeding my baby 😭 Idk I just need somebody to tell me if I’m being insane or not Would you let your partner/husband take your baby?

Going back to work ?

How do you mommas feel about going back to work. I went back today & I’m so sad. I really wish I could stay at home with my little one all day. I’ve just been crying all day and cried all last night.
