37+5 and dilated to 3

I was surprised that I was dilated to a 3 today! Has anyone else been checked around 37/38 weeks and been dilated to a 3? Scheduled my induction for next week at 38+6.

Labor Help!

So I’ve had two c-sections so I’ve never experienced labor or contractions. With this pregnancy had been super different than my first two. I have been dealing with lightning crotch pain for about a month. But the last couple days I have been feeling cramping in my lower back and my lower abdomen. I have also started feeling like a dull achy pain in my pelvic region. Like it’s hard to explain but it kinda radiates into my thighs a little bit. Just don’t know if this a sign of going into labor or not..

Hand’s swelling

Hi girls, has anyone experienced their hands swelling? What can I do to reduce the swelling?

Last appointment

I had my last appointment yesterday at exactly 39 weeks. I had my last ultrasound and he was measuring 7lbs 14oz, I'mvery interested to see what he will.actually be. I go in two days for my induction. I was very shocked when she told me i was 2cm. I've had 6 kids and have never been more than a finger tip at this point. He's still pretty high up and my cervix isn't all that thin. Which i was relatively happy about. My son turns six today and we have reservations for dinner. I'm really hoping he stays put until Friday. But it hurts to stand for very long and walking my hips feel like they are breaking. Im worried if i do to much more than the minimum it would put me into labor. Im so grateful my mother is here and doing things in the house i normally take responsibility for so that I'm not over doing it. We are almost there ladies. I know some of us have already met our little ones but the gates are starting to open and they are coming. Praying for all of you and your little ones

Getting so close !

I had my baby shower this last weekend. It turned out to be a real small thing but it was still lovely! I’m so excited to ( hopefully) only have a month left until we meet baby boy! There is a small part of me that hopes he’s born a little early only because of how uncomfortable I’ve been.

Aches and dreams

I’ve always had weird dreams and even throughout the pregnancy, and they continue into this last week of pregnancy. It’s making me not be able to sleep. I’m getting anxious about little man coming. Also I’m just in so much pain right now. Just being awake is causing pain.

Itching

Hi everyone, Anyone experiencing body itching ? Mild itching ?

Is this normal or just me?

So for my last 3 babies I’ve had female providers. This baby, I have a male provider. I like him, he’s professional and nice. I’m considering asking for a membrane sweep at my 38 week appointment (I’m 37 weeks currently), but I feel so awkward thinking of him doing that and seeing me down there?! I know that sounds CRAZY bc he’s my OB and I obviously know he’s going to see me down there in labor lol. Does anyone else feel this way?? Like I don’t want to ask for the membrane sweep bc I’ll feel awkward? And again he hasn’t done anything to make me feel uncomfortable, it’s just me. Anyone else??*I want to add: I don’t want to switch providers. I have type 1 diabetes and have a rather complicated history. My previous midwife recommended this OB and he’s open to letting me do things more naturally than other providers will, which is very important to me.

How was it and did it work quite quickly? Going in today!

DECREASED MOVEMENT

**UPDATE**They decided to induce due to the high blood pressure, low movement, and the fluid was measuring lower than a couple of days ago. So we’re having a baby today! 🎉 ORIGINAL POST:Getting checked out for decreased movement. This past week has had me worried. First it was headaches and getting checked for preeclampsia (don’t have it), then they find that the fluids low but not low enough for intervention. And every day this past week baby’s been moving less and less. My blood pressure was higher than normal at my appointment the other day. And it’s slightly higher today. I’m really trying to trust the doctor’s judgement. But it’s really starting to feel like they’re just brushing all of this off as nothing.

No longer a March mom

Baby Isaiah was born Feb 21 😊😊😊 ❤️❤️❤️at 35 weeks. Pre-eclampsia is real stay on top of your doctor visits. I am very happy we caught things on time.

38 weeks & 1 day!

Got a membrane sweep today had a “bloody show” has anyone had one done an went into labor a day or so later? Really hoping he comes soon if not I have to be induced on the 27th of this month. 😫

The start?

I’ll be 36wks tomorrow and all day off and on I’ve been having lower pelvic period like cramps. Maybe a 2/10 scale. I’m also having heavy pressure on my vagina opening area if I go from sitting to stand. Also some very intense lightening crotch off and on when I’m walking or sitting down and lean to the side. I’ve also been having watery like mucus come out the last week. But no mucus plug type thickness. I don’t know if that’s normal or the start of something.

36 weeks w/twins and I’m a dumbass in denial

Ya’ll. I’m pregnant with twins. They’re measuring about 6lbs each at this point. So 12lbs of baby. This is my 3rd pregnancy, and by far the easiest. I’m skipping through my days, no pains, no aches, no adverse symptoms. Just living my life like I’m not growing two whole humans.For months people have been giving up their seats for me, telling me to slow down, yelling at me for lifting stuff, offering their place in line, reminding me I’m pregnant. And I get that I am, I just also have commitments and responsibilities and truly have not felt THAT bad. Obviously I pee more, it’s harder to get up, I don’t sleep well because I’m turning like a rotisserie chicken, but overall, I’ve felt okay. And while I’m high risk with a bunch of stuff and go to a million extra appointments and ultrasounds, there are no real problems with the babies.Well today we had a few things on the agenda. My jobs more flexible than my husband’s so I typically knock this type of stuff out without a second thought. My 8 year old had his annual eye doctor appointment. My 4 year old’s hearing aids came in so we picked those up. Today was the pasta party for the championship swim meet this weekend and I had signed up to bring a huge salad so I made that. I worked (from home on the computer but still knocked out a bunch of meetings and stuff) then the book fair starts Monday so I went to the school and helped set up the tables. Then we went to the pasta party. Pretty typical day. Let me tell you. I overdid it. My body is screaming in pain. It’s 3:35am and every part of me hurts. I have an NST and ultrasound in a few hours and I can barely move. I’m having Braxton hicks. My back is killing me, my hips are crushed, I’m exhausted, my feet hurt. This is the worst I’ve felt this entire pregnancy. I have 2 weeks till my scheduled C section. 1 championship swim meet. 5 days of sitting at the book fair working the register / working. 1 parental advisory committee meeting with the school board. 1 birthday party. 1 hearing aid follow up appointment. And a handful of baby appointments to get to the finish line. These babies can’t come earlier than 3/7. I’m just hoping I don’t end up in L&D over this. I got shit to do lol

No signs

36 weeks and no signs of labor. Not even a little bit. I feel the same as I did at 30 weeks or less. What’s the deal?! lol I guess I should just be thankful but honestly this pregnancy is SO different from my first two. I was dying by the is point.

MEMBRANE SWEEP TODAY!

I just got my sweep done 3 hours ago, ran some errands, and now bouncing on my ball. Let’s see if this works 🤔My previous 2 pregnancies I got a sweep done and went into labor that same day.

Ouch 38w1d

My yard is covered in snow and ice. This is totally normal for us and I've been fine this whole time.Well today my luck ran out. We have 18 chickens and this morning i noticed some odd behavior in the crows as i was heading out the door to turn the birds out. I thought to myself let me go see what they are pecking to death. I get over and it's nothing. I thought for sure it was going to be one of our chickens and something got into our coop. I made it all the way there and almost back to my driveway. The snow cracked my foot slipped threw me off balance and down i go. I did everything i could not to fall on my belly. My left knee to the force of the fall. I called the ob and went in to urgent care.Im scheduled to be induced in 10 days and I've busted up my left knee and have a big black and blue on my right. It's been about 6 hours and baby is doing fine and no bleeding or fluids leaking. I've been having some cramps and sporadic contractions but nothing worrisome for the ob. Tomorrow i go in for my appointment and nst. If anything changes i have to to go labor and delivery but i think i saved the belly in the fall so i think all will be well. But man does it make you nervous. I laid there in the yard on the frozen snow crying thinking I've borken my knee. But prayers this heals before this little guy shows please!

35 weeks!

We only have 3 weeks left! We have a scheduled c-section for March 11th! I can’t wait to meet our sweet Azzie baby!!
