Donating or selling breastmilk

Where have you contacted? I selfishly want to sell it. Almost a yr exclusively pumping only. I think i earn a few bucks. If not, that is fine. Problem is that i have super high lipase. Like when i would mix the last pump into something for baby. He won’t take it. Why???? Cuz you can taste the iron taste. It would be nice to know it can go to tubie babies

Milk changed color

So I started a super B complex supplement just last night and this morning my milk was very yellow in color which it isn’t normally for me. Is it okay to still feed this to my baby? I’m sure it has to be from the vitamins.

Yes. Breastmilk changes color. Just watch to see how baby responds.

4 months breastfeeding

Hi,Recently, I noticed my baby was getting frustrated when I was feeding him on my left boob. I couldn’t figure out why he was fussy because he kept showing signs he was still hungry after 3 mins but would keep getting off and on my left boob so I tried to feed him on my right boob and sure enough he was gulping down milk and passed out. This happened maybe yesterday but for sure all day today on New Year’s Day. I am an over-supplier and have a fast let down. I am only exclusively breastfeeding and have not pumped for the first 5 days he was born. I have pumped a couple time after that for when I left my baby with family. So on my third month I started to regulate but I needed to start pumping again at work because I started back working on the 20th and didn’t want my supply to go down. Anyways my left boob was the boob that had the most milk and fastest let down to the point where it would drown him. So I kept doing the switch off method to make sure they would balance and regulate both boobs but now this boobs is not making enough to satisfy him like it did before. I had to finish his feed on my right boob because he was still hungry. I thought maybe it was a one time thing but nope it’s not it’s still not fully feeding him so I have to keep switching to my other boob to finish his feed and he feeds on there for 3 to 5 mins which means he’s definitely sucking me dry. Also to be sure it was just my left boob I tried to only feed him on my right and that boob fully satisfy him. He feed for about 5 to 7 mins on that one. So I wonder what’s going on? Can anyone help me I don’t want to dry up.

Potentially a clogged duct. Do you have any pain? Has the letdown been normal recently?

Breastfeeding question ?

Is it weird to have donated breast milk from another mother?

Breastfeeding after cancer

I had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction last Spring (plus treatment) for breast cancer. I have no nipples and no feeling in my chest. I'm otherwise mostly healthy. This is my 3rd baby and I breastfed my other two for extended times (2-3 years.) Fed is best, not just breast. I know this and understand this logically. I just find myself feeling more and more depressed about not being able to nurse this baby though. I worry about not bonding as well mostly. I know what I'm going to be missing out on as well as baby girl. I can't seem to make the mind to heart connection that formula is still ok and am just so upset that I don't have the option to breastfeed this time. I'm grateful to be alive and even more so to be gifted this baby. I know in my heart that I'm a survivor and that this baby will be just fine, but I'm also so angry at the situation and mad that life isn't fair and indescribably sad. Idk what to do.

I want to quit so I can get my cycle back because my husband and I want to start trying for baby #2 right away. I want to be pregnant again so bad but I can’t help feeling guilty and scared of not have fresh milk for my son.

Breastfeeding advice

Hey guys I just found out I'm pregnant with baby number 2 and was wondering what to do to get a good supply of breast milk started before my lil one arrives (rn I'm 4 weeks and wanna be ready!). When I had my 1st baby 3 years ago I didn't produce much and sadly after being in the hospital for 3 days after I had him due to high blood pressure I stopped producing when my 1st baby was around 3 weeks🥺🥺. so I didn't get a chance to experience the breast feeding journey and since I'm pregnant with baby number 2 I'm hoping things will be diff. Any advice like foods, drinks, etc that anyone knows of to help me prepare please let me know! Thanks in advance!🥰

Can’t do anything till after you have baby but oats. Oats are great to up supply. And pump a lot.

Needing donation breast milk.

Hello! My son is 2 moths old and we are down to the last 2 bags of 5 oz. I haven't found any formula he like or can handle. I really wanna keep him on breastmilk till a year. Located near shawnee. Can drive to okc, Midwest city, Norman, the village or surrounding areas. If anyone could help that would be amazing. Also maybe looking for something long term? Thank you in advance. If selling please be nice. I'm not working and we are living off a 7.25 an hour pay check. So unless your prepared to make a pretty deal I probably won't be able to buy. Might could pay for shipping depending on how much. Thanks again.

BF and pumping

Is pumping really necessary for breast feeding? I’ve been trying to do the whole “every two hours” thing. But every time I get 1/2 way through the 10 minutes nothing comes out anymore. Additionally it’s just so hard to feed baby in the middle of the night/morning and then stay up and ADDITIONAL 20-30 minutes to pump what little I get(not even one oz. more like 1/4 of one if I’m lucky), store it, and then clean everything for the next session. I’m exhausted. Baby will be 3 weeks Monday

Can he sit on my lap to feed the day after if I don’t lift him? I’m starting to feel very anxious about it.I have two months to prepare.Thank you!

Breastfeeding help

I need some help from producing milk! With my first baby I could not produce any milk. I got really bad clogged ducks. It’s hurt sooooo bad could not even touch my breast. Nurses were forcing my son on me even tho I had no milk to give him :( after I tried formula he was gaining lots of weight. I was sick for my whole 9 months of pregnancy and could not eat or drink much, maybe that could of been the problem! Does any moms have any tips to helping get good flow and produce milk for my next baby’. Does the treats you can buy at the store work? Water?

The more your baby sucks the more you will make. Don’t supplement. If you give formula to your baby might feel too full to nurse frequently, so you’ll make less milk. I didn’t give my son a binky I put my son to me as much as possible. I had a late start to my breastfeeding my son was almost 3 months old and I brought back my milk supply still nursing him on demand at 7 months old

Feeding schedule

My son is still breastfeeding on demand, and it can range from him being hungry every 45 minutes or every 3 hours. Any advice on how to get him on a more regular feeding schedule without forcing him to eat and/or holding off when he's hungry? Thank you in advance

Stock supply

My sons pediatrician feels as though my son isn't gaining enough weight and want me to breastfeed him in each breast for 20 minutes then give him a bottle. Here's the issue. He can easily down 4 oz after BF and I go back to work in a month and need breastmilk for when I'm not home. Between him feeding and me pulling that's an hour and a half accounted for. He still likes 2 eat ever 2 hours so that leaves 30 minute intervals if he decides to not take a nice 4 hour nap. I need ALL tips on how to increase my supply bc between him sucking me dry and trying to freeze some I am pressed and stressed!! Also I know formula is always an option, but that's a last resort for us.
