So just a little background to start off with. I’ve miscarried 3 times in the last 4 years, all roughly a year apart. I’ve taken prenatals religiously before conceiving, and even changed my diet a lot last year because i wanted a healthier body.

I recently fell pregnant again for the fourth time, but i’ve been super cautious with the excitement of it all.

I had my first bloodwork on 12/20, my hcg was 75 and i was exactly 4 weeks along according to ovulation (i tracked all month). A week later on 12/28 my hcg was only 145, which meant it wasn’t increasing enough. My doctor asked me to come in the next day for an ultrasound, keep in mind i’m 5 weeks 1 day. They couldn’t find anything on the ultrasound in my uterus or tubes, because a big concern was ectopic pregnancy. My doctor told me not to worry and maybe it’s just too early, and he wants to check everything again in another week. I’ve been driving myself crazy over it for the last couple of days, I just can’t help it🤦🏻‍♀️.

I took an at home pregnancy test to see if the line was getting lighter, because I just feel like i’m going to lose this baby. I want some kind of answer and it’s so difficult to wait.

Below is the first test I took at home at 3.5 weeks VS the one I took today at 5 weeks 3 days.

It’s getting much lighter. I’m assuming this means loss, but if anyone has had a parallel experience i’m begging you to share with me how it went. I’m so exhausted and tired of trying, I do everything right and my doctors say i’m perfectly capable of carrying. I don’t get it.
