Infertility and NFP

I am infertile and I don’t ovulate. Is there a way that NaPro or NFP can make me ovulate? I just don’t see how that’s possible. I think I need medication because I am not producing follicles. Any help would be appreciated. (By the way, I have been tracking my cycle multiple ways for over a year. I’m just not ovulating and blood tests and scans have confirmed this.)

So I decided the best choice of birth control for me is Natural Family Planning. Tired of all these hormones in my body. I recently started losing A LOT of hair due to the depo shot & actually seeing what it's doing to my body made me feel so disgusted. Just got my shot in October & should be going back in January but I'm not getting it anymore. Husband is backing me up on this plan. I'm nervous and completely new at this. Any advice/ past experiences from anyone that tried this method?

Nexplanon/ NFP

Hi guys! So I’m 23 and I recently got my third nexplanon put in, but I’m thinking of getting it removed. (Not ttc) I don’t have Any crazy stories as to why I don’t want it, I just feel like maybe my body might need a break from bc. I’ve been on it for 6 years and am worried that another 3 years might harm my body. The only side effects I get are prolonged bleeding and acne. Im thinking of trying NFP. Have any of you guys tried it? Do you guys recommend?

NFP or pill?

I have been on BC since Jr high for athletic purposes. I would like to be completely off of contraceptive but am terrified to become pg. I do not want another child. Should I give NFP a shot cause I don't want to be on hormones anymore. Nervous

New to NFP

Any advice for a couple learning NFP? Just removed the copper IUD so it’ll be a few cycles before we know for certain if I’m regular.

Ladies! I just had baby number 3 and we tried the pill and the IUD, after being on the IUD I have had pelvic pain and can actually feel it so hubby and I decided to us NFP (natural family planning) to get to know my cycle so he can finish in me without worry of pregnancy! we went out and bought a BBT thermometer and I downloaded this app to track it! for a few months he is NOT allowed to finish in me until we get a hang of this natural method! any tips or advice for us?? we are excited because in 3 years we want to ttc for our fourth little!

NFP method

I'm interested in using the NPF method, but I wasn't sure what app to use or if there's a special thermometer I'm supposed to use. My husband and I will continue to use condoms every single time, but I am interested in learning more about my ovulation cycle because I'm completely lost and my period is all over the place. Sometimes my cycle is every 28 days and sometimes it's every 36 days. I had my son 15 months ago and I just weaned 2 weeks ago, so maybe that's throwing me off as well. What are you ladies using to track your cycles/ovulation?

Attempting NFP

So we have 2 kids and feel that we are done. But hubby doesn't want to use condoms - and I have some breast cancer in the family, so I don't want to go on the pill. Anyone here tried to just natural family planning? Did it work? Or was it really hard? We don't have sex super often - like once a week if we are lucky - so feel like temporary abstinence is no big deal. But I definitely DO NOT want to get pregnant again. Any advice is much appreciated?

NFP and breastfeeding

Does anyone here use natural family planning as their method of birth control? I’m wondering how that works if I’m exclusively breastfeeding and don’t get my period since I know you can get your period right away or not for a year plus! My six week appt is coming up so I want to have a plan for when we get back to it since hubby and I only use NFP for BC! Any advice would be so appreciated!!

My husband and I had sex on June 6 and I got a BFP on June 14th (7.5 days later)! Has anyone else experienced such a fast process? We are shocked, amazed, but mostly excited!

help! NFP

hi everyone! my husband and I had a baby a year ago and have been using NFP. This is not for religous reasons but because i have horrible reactions to birth control. anyway, i wasnt supposed to ovulate for another week, but all of a sudden I showed all the signs of ovulation, including right lower abdominal pain tonight. we had sex last night. should I go and get th4e morning after pill? Having a baby for us wouldnt be horrible, but super unplanned. any suggestions? mostly Im just freaking out, because since my daughter ive had normal regular periods and finally have started losing weight for the first time since jr high.

Tips for Natural Family Planning?? I know about condoms, neem oil, tracking ovulation. I know about taking ovulation tests and temperature at the same time every day. I also use 2 apps for tracking periods, fertile days, and ovulation and 2 apps to track ovulation tests. 😊 Thank you in advance!!!! ❤️

Natural Family Planning: NFP

My husband is catholic and wants to use natural family planning instead of birth control. I’m not opposed to it but it seems so hard to track and I’m 10 weeks pp and haven’t gotten my cycle back. Anyone have advice on NFP?

NFP (might be TMI)

I grew up catholic but strayed for awhile. My fiance and I have a 1yo and I'm currently pregnant. We are getting married shortly after this baby is born and I would like to not return to birth control. I've been reading about the different NFP methods and I guess I'm pretty confused. After birth my periods might be irregular (obviously) and I can't afford a monitor or a teacher. Can someone explain what method you use and how it's done? If it's billings or anything that uses cervical mucus can you explain what the different types of mucus are or how to tell the difference between cervical mucus and sperm? I've never been good at knowing my own body and I also don't wake up at the same time everyday. We have a small 2 bedroom house so 2 under 2 is plenty for now.

NFP advice for newlyweds please

Hi all! I recently got married and my husband started a new job too. We would like to try to hold off for a year before having kids, for his job stability sake. My job is quite stable, but we plan for me to stay at home to raise our family and homeschool, so I’ll be quitting that job after I give birth. (Kinda bittersweet, but I’m so excited too!) (For religious and personal reasons, birth control and condoms are not an option for us.) Being new to NFP, any advice from “seasoned professionals” would be so welcome!! Please and thank you! We’ve already found that organization, patience, and communication are VITAL! Haha (Also, yes, we are well aware that the entire point of NFP is being open to life, if it still “finds a way”😂 We are stable enough to have a baby now, it’s just not opportune. And I do have a work-from-home job lined up too.)
