My hcg was 20,000 at 8 weeks. I know it can vary but anything under 5 is considered negative. Especially at 8 weeks

They should have you retest in 2 days but typically it should be WAY higher. Mine was 19 at 5 weeks then dropped to a 5 and then to a 0.

Just as a reference point, I had an hcg of 25 at 4w3d and the doctor said it would most likely be a miscarriage. I looked online and it basically 25 is the "cusp" point between pregnant and not pregnant
