My partner is away back home this weekend and over message he's just dropped in to conversation that everyone is coming to gender party...I assumed he meant family as they are the only ones who knew because we agreed we weren't telling everyone until after the 12 weeks scan so we knew everything was OK. But he then reels off a list of about 9 friends...some of which I've never even heard him mention and says they're all coming and their girlfriends are too...people I don't know and haven't even heard of before! I know it's ages away and by then half will forget or not come anyway but am I wrong to be annoyed that he's decided to tell absolutely everyone without telling me and also invite a load of people I don't know to something like that personal? We were only supposed to just be having a small get together at the house with family and the closest friends
