So my husband and I have decided once we have kids (ttc for 6 months) we will not lie and tell them Santa is real (or Easter bunny etc). We both feel it is unnecessary. We were both raised with Santa being real but it seems silly to lie about it. We are getting a lot of slack when we have brought this up to family. What else can we say other than its our choice?
