BDSM - dictionary definition and analysis
"A physical, psychological and usually sexual power-role-play with consensual participants." (Urban Dictionary - Merov, June 11 2011)
BDSM is letting all of your links and fetishes be wild. It's giving up your power or gaining power from another person so you can both experience pleasures you desire. Most styles of BDSM include dominant and submissive roles that connect together and feel together through complete trust and cooperation a feeling and experience that they crave usually sexually.
But not all BDSM is sexual and its not violent o rough unless you choose for it to be. BDSM is an attack on your feelings and sensations. Like being blindfolded whilst a lover tickles and caresses your skin. But it also can be fast and wild sex with one person tied down as they are dominated and used by a group of people.
BDSM isn't something to be ashamed of and no one should be kink shamed. What you like is what you like. So whether you feel awful for wanting to tie up your significant other and whip them, or whether you feel guilty for wanting to perform sexual acts Infront of many people. You should never be ashamed of yourself and just keep living because BDSM is, contrary to belief, about fulfilling your darkest desires in a SAFE and SECURE environment that everyone is comfortable in.
