How is the HSG "dye test"?

I'm getting one done Mid April and need any info/advice I can get.

UPDATE: had the test done earlier this week. It was crazy painful. But my tubes looked great:)

Not bad at all. It was pretty cool to watch and getting instant results is awesome.

Mine was painful but so worth it to get immediate answers that everything was healthy. Take an Advil before you go in and you'll be good! Good luck!

Thanks everyone. Nervous about it. My SO is also getting a semen analysis. Which also scares me 😕

You should get the semen analysis done first. I did the dye test and spent $950 only to find out that I was fine and my SO was shooting blanks...
