House blues

So my husband and i live in one of my in laws rental properties. This means the rent is cheap and we can have our 2 dogs there.

The house is really old and needs some work.

I politely went to my mother in law and told here there are things that we would like them to fix before the baby comes. Things that would be dangerous for the baby.

She turned around and stated that my husband should fix it and they arent doing anything to the house and will just sell it!

I dont know what to do or think! So mad!
