Heart broken

Sooo I've been dating who I thought the love of my life. We were dating for two years we have our ups and downs but still managed to work things out. It was harder because we are in different cities now because of our careers, but we'd visit each other at least once a week. So I came back home to visit to have a family dinner. At this dinner I found out my love and my aunt went out for drinks...why?? It may be me but I find it hard to believe that's a coincidence, so I asked both about it. Neither could give me a straight answer. I need to let him go but it's so hard. Am I overreacting? ?
