Is it still crazy to believe that someone's "first" can be their "only"?

I'm 19, been with my BF for going on three years now and lost my v card to him this past September. We both are crazy about one another and want to get married a year or so out of college (yes I'm a romantic but the wish to marry is mutual on both ends). But so many people have been discouraging me lately saying that I didn't explore any other options, or I put all my eggs in one basket, or that I'm just "obsessed" with him. It's quite upsetting to hear given that when I look to my future I can't picture anyone else taking his place. I just hate it when people make me feel bad for loving and wanting to be with him 🙁

I feel you ! I've only had sex with my boyfriend and now we have kid we have almost 3yrs . We both are 16 . People always tell me you're gonna tired of him . You should've done this done that with other people . But I just say screw them and keep going with my life cause it ain't any of their business (: btw we both lost it to each other .

My husband and I have been together nearly 15 years we are each other's first. We have two kids and have been trying for 4 years for a 3rd. It takes more work the longer you are together but it is possible

Don't listen to anyone else! Y'all love each other and wanna be together forever, then do that! You just need to be happy and if you are, then do t worry about what everyone else is saying. He may be you're first and that's okay, as long as you both are happy with the relationship, there is no need to explore other options.

My fiancé and I have been together for over 5 years. I lost mine to him, he lost his to me. I don't feel like I'm missing out because I love him so much. People tell me the same things all the time. But I don't listen because I don't need to "explore" other men. I love mine and that's all I need in life. Yeah, all my eggs went in one basket, because I don't feel they need to be spread out. Thats just my opinion, I feel you girl!
