No I don't. It's stupid! What's the point of calling him my husband if we aren't married? I'll be honored to call him my husband once we are though but as of right now he's just my boyfriend.

My husband and I didn't before marriage. I personally felt that it was kind of, insensitive? I'm not sure if that's the right word. But being in a marriage (or long-term commitment) is a lot different than dating. I feel whole new levels of affection since being married than I did at one year of a relationship, for example. So I just wanted to save that label for when it was real. But my sister uses it with her boyfriend and it drives me batty. They're nowhere near marriage ready but throw around those words like nothing. It's special to me. But alas, I know they're just words and it doesn't really matter so I just keep my mouth shut. Whatever makes them happy.

No because he's not my husband yet. And I am not his wife. Those terms are to be saved for marriage. You earn those by fully 100% committing your life to that person.

I don't care if you say your husband and wife when your not, but if you think of yourselves as married then why not actually get married? It costs like $30 to get married at the courthouse

I don't because my Boyfriend gets embarrassed by saying that we are boyfriend and girlfriend whereas I should be at least engaged to him by now. 7 years and counting. So me very pointedly pointing out, "this is my boyfriend, yes, a boy, and yes he's my friend, but he's also my boyfriend.... a boy.... friend.... of seven years......" And the look on his face.... priceless everytime.

I don't call my fiancé my husband but if someone assumes because of the rock on my finger I don't correct them. I mean like random people or friends of friends where its not worth the trouble of correcting them. If it someone I'm going to talk to more than once then I do explain.

NO! You haven't earned the right to use husband/wife. Some of us actually take marriage seriously and know it's so much more than a piece of paper.

We do. Bc 1 we planning a wedding, 2 we've been together over 3 years. And I see nothing wrong with it. It bugs me when people use that term when they been dating 2 days or a few weeks We don't mind it even our families say son in law or daughter in law or hubby etc
