Anxiety medicine while pregnant?

I've taken them my whole pregnancy. I'm 37 weeks now. My doctor advised that it was better for me to take them during pregnancy rather than have panic attacks and put myself and therefore my unborn child through the un needed stress.

That being said... I did have to switch to a different prescription because the one I was on stopped working at about 6 months. What works for you pre Pregnancy may not work for you once those hormones take over your system.

Don't take any meds while you are pregnant!!! You rather go and join other mom groups, find a good counselor at the church( they don't charge and provide the best support. Be active, do some volunteering, go for walks.

I know that is I were pregnant I would poetically try not to take any but I have severe anxiety disorder and it's hell without my med. So I would try but if it was too bad I'd have to take my anxiety Medicine. Hope this helps.
