What causes bleeding after D&C

I just started bleeding today and it's enough to soak a pad .Should I think it's my period? I just had the D&C.

Depends on how long it's been after you had your d&c. Your period should come between 3-6 weeks after.. depending on your body

I think that's normal. I bleed for 10 days straight after my d and c. Doctor said it was normal and it did stop. My period came about 6 weeks later and then I resumed my regular cycle except my period days changed from 6 days of bleeding to 5. I was very happy about that. I am now pregnant again and praying for a sticky bean.
