Nexlpanon?

Getting Nexplanon soon! For any of you that have it - was it a good choice? Although I know it affects everyone differently, what were some side affects of it? How long will it be fully effective? Any other comments will be appreciated!

Super effective in the terms of protection for me. Other than that, I can easily say that it was the worst thing I have ever done for my body. Gained 10 pounds in less than two months and constantly bled besides a few days a month. Finally had it taken out after 7 months. Since, I have lost weight, my anxiety is back to manageable and my periods are regulating.

It was very effective , I didn't have my period the whole time I was on it , but I gained 35/40 lbs on it .... Not directly from it but from the side effects low metabolism , being hungry a lot and I had just transferred to college ..... Freshmen 15 😭🙄 . But I got it out at the two year mark because I couldn't drop the weight ... As soon as I got off the weight started falling off on its own and my moods became a lot better . You can have it up to 3 years so I'd reccamend it if you want definite protection.
