I didn't know ghetto was a race?

I've always thought anyone can be ghetto.

What's the real meaning of ghetto?

Because some people on here thinks it means being black smh.

I'm black i'm not ghetto ,loud or a gold digger. Very educated my kids have one father I own my house and car. And by the way my husband is black😄married over 10 long years 3 kids 👍 and I have 10 brothers and none of them are thugs 😱lawyers,police officers a teacher and a few construction workers.

Yes I know its not a race smh people think only blacks are ghetto,or come from the ghetto. Not true. I grew up in a low income area does that make me ghetto?
