My doctor ordered one but I usually don't ovulate until day 23 so I feel like it's stupid to even bother before my regular ovulation day. She said something about with longer cycles they'll test 5 days later on day 26 but I just want to know if I ovulate not how often so I'm thinking I'll wait until I get the positive OPK and have my usual ovulation signs aka a shit load of pain, massive water balloon breasts and a fountain in my pants. Sorry if TMI. Have any of your doctors run this test later in the case of longer cycles? I'd hate to take it when I know there is no way I ovulated yet and will get a negative I know I will get because I know I never ovulate before day 21. Fertility specialist is in April. I just want to know why we can't get pregnant already!
