Well, that was pretty easy
So I was due the 25th. Woke up at 4 am on the 26tg with contractions about ten minutes apart. Went about my day. My mom landed at noon. I met up with her, we moved a dresser. Contractions about every five minutes, no big deal to me. Met up with my SO at our new house around 4pm contractions every three minutes or so, still not bad or anything. So I called the midwife. She asked why I called, I said "well, I think it's probably about time for me to come have a baby... Don't trust me to not sound uncomfortable, I have a high pain tolerance" she said "a lot of people say that, I usually dont believe them but maybe you should come get checked anyway." So we got to the hospital around 4:30, checked in by five. She checked and I was at 8 cm :) so they all decided that maybe I was in active labor after all :). The nurse and midwife and everyone asked what I wanted and I said to be left alone as much as possible so they just sat around the edges of the room trying not to stare at me while I walked in little circles. At seven I sort of started to push so they said "oh, you're pushing. Okay." And at 8:00 out she came :) when she was crowing I kept saying "I do not like this part" and "wait". And that's how I had my first baby. I didn't tear, just a little abrasion, no stitches, she's crazy about nursing...I know not everyone will have such an easy time, but it does happen :)
