It's so hard to know! I'm currently deciding with my husband when we're going to start trying to conceive our second. My son is nearly 10 months old and I think we're going to start when he's 1, but  have no idea if it's the right thing to do 😊

After this pregnancy, I'm thinking 3-4 or even 5. My daughter went from independent and wanting to do everything herself to wanting mommy all the time n wanting to b held etc. she does have moments of independence n she doesn't seem as bad as my goddaughter (who's also gonna be a big sister soon) but damn I can't get any rest. I was getting contractions and she threw a tantrum cuz she didn't wanna be separated from me. Plus she regressed in potty training and only uses the toilet when we're out (which isn't much cuz I'm soooo tired). I think having the capacity to understand that you can't always have mommy to yourself and really having empathy or at least sympathy is important, which usually starts around preschool. Or have them so close that the older is just starting terrible twos after the second is born so that you at least aren't drained from pregnancy
