Does anyone have endometriosis?

Question

If any one of you ladies have this malfunction . can you tell me the symtoms and if its affected your fertility or not.  Needing to go see a obgyn but dont have any type of medical insurance.

I found out I had endometriosis after my second c section. I had very very painful periods and they were quite heavy. I also had alot of pain when I was ovulating as well.... coincidentally after my second child I had the hardest time conceiving again and when I reached out to my dr about this he told me that endometriosis makes it very hard sometimes near impossible to concieve.... so we kind of accepted it and moved on being thankful for the kids we do have...  low and behold 3 years later out of the blue I am pregnant (now 17 weeks) so it's not impossible but I think just a bit harder. Yes I found out I had endometriosis November 2014 by doing a laparoscopy that's the only way to know for sure if you have it. They lasered it out. And they did ovarian drilling. There are symptoms like heavy bleeding and clots and bad menstrual cramps were my symptoms but I'm sure there are other symptoms than that. The surgery wasnt bad at all. 11 months after the surgery I found out I was pregnant in October currently 23 weeks now 😊 with the help of the laparoscopy, ovarian drilling and famara. Took us a total of 4 yrs to get pregnant with this baby and I'm sure I will have to  do another laparoscopy again to have another baby down the road. Hope this helps!

I have had 2 surgeries for it within a year and a half of each other.  I HIGHLY recommend seeking out a doctor who specializes in the removal of endometriosis and uses excision to remove the disease.  Unfortunately most obgyns just burn all spots of endo which will only aggravate the disease and cannot go as deep as excising to remove all the disease.  Personal experience :(. The endo did cause secondary infertility as I was diagnosed with it and noticed my symptoms after having twins and was not diagnosed until I was trying to get pregnant again 6 years later.  My first surgery that used he burning technique did help me to get pregnant pretty quickly and I now have a beautiful daughter which is my third child, however I was in the worst pain of my life after having her.  that's when I sought out a specialist who uses excision and had my second surgery last October.  I feel like this doctor saved my life and gave me another chance at life because I was spiraling downward quick with the debilitating pain and constant bleeding.  I have been pain free since and still wake up shocked.  Best wishes to you, it's a nasty disease. My mom had it, she had three children (including myself). The middle child and I were unplanned but my youngest sister was the only one that seemed to be hard to conceive. It took my parents three years to finally get pregnant.
