As long as the maturity levels are at least close, I would say yes. Just know that I changed quite a bit from 17 to 18. And then did a big change once I moved out of my parent's house.

I don't think so. I had a good friend who was very mature for his age (lol he was 14 I was 16 and very naive then). We kind of dated although we never kissed, at the time I had some feelings for him. I don't think they were wrong.
