I'm young, and I masturbate and I was wondering if it's a sin… I'm not that religious, but I've always wanted to know. Sorry, if I sound stupid.😁

According to the bible masturbation falls under the "lust" category which does absolutely make it a sin. It is a sin of the flesh which means everyone does it, buts it's also a choice. Lust means "a very strong sexual desire" so technically lust can be a thought or an act- so even thinking sexual thoughts about another person outside of marriage is a sin. This is known as a grey area which means there are many people who think it's a sin and several that think it's perfectly natural and fine (but it is not directly talked about in the bible) You also have to realize that lying and saying "oh God" are also sins and that most don't take those very seriously so it's up to your discretion.
