High blood pressure??

My husband bought a blood pressure monitor to log his blood pressure for his docter and I decided to check mine for fun and it said 144/70. Is this high? I know the norm is 120/80 but I'm not sure if mine is high or normal. Should I be concerned?

Your fine hunny don't stress yourself in pregnancy it's normal to have high blood pressure and heart rate you will be fine baby girl god bless you

That isn't bad. With pregnancy it is expected your blood pressure will increase some with extra blood and strain on your body. That's still within a good range.

Every since I've been pregnant my blood pressure has been a little off. Before it was always under the 120/80 but since checking it while pregnant it's always been in the 140's but the low side is usually around 80. My pulse always stays elevated now that I'm pregnant (between 95-130). My doctor said it's completely normal it's just our bodies working extra to get everything to us and the baby :)

That's not bad, but it's been my experience that digital monitors generally read high. I'm an LPN at a doctor's office and we got rid of our digital machine because it always read high! So that number may not be entirely accurate.

The digital monitors always read mine high. I have high BP but at home it's way higher than at the doctor. I suggest going to the dr if you are concerned.
