I'm 18, sexually active, and looking to get on the BCP.  I'm afraid to tell my mom I want BC because she'll be very disappointed and probably disgusted with me.  I have to tell her because I'm under her health insurance.  She knows I have a boyfriend, so I can't give any excuse about reducing acne or making my periods regular.  Any advice on what I should do??
