Confused

On december 29 i had a miscarriage at 6 week, immediately after we started TTC and no luck so far. My period is very regular, i was supposed to start my period today but no symptoms (cramps i have always have them). With my last pregnancy which ended in a miscarriage like I said before I didn't have  any symptoms of been pregnant.  Only thing i have been feeling is backache. Im scare of taking a hpt. What do i do?
