Pooping with baby?

Question

How do y'all go poop when your home alone with your baby? If my baby is in a mood I can't even put her down in a bouncy seat so I end up swaying her on my legs while I try to go. Is that ok?

I will set my son in his bouncy and go poop. It will take me 3 minutes , he will live.

That's a good habbit to instill - as a toddler you'll basically never get privacy again. I think crying for 5 minuets in a bouncer or something is fine. Poop in peace, before its too late!!

I'll be strapping him in his bouncer or laying him in his pack & play and going to poop. A little bit of crying won't kill him, it's not like I'm pooping for 15 minutes.

I had this same question in my head. I was holding it for awhile but now I just go quickly and he cries until I come back or he may even stop on his own.

Put baby down somewhere safe and do your business. No need to bend over backwards so baby doesn't cry for 2 minutes. Same with getting a shower in but maybe have the "safe spot" in the bathroom where you can peek at baby. It's good for them to learn to self soothe and good for you to know baby will be ok and you can still get personal things done even though your a mom.

My three year old still wants to go into the bathroom am with me 😓 I even have to lock the door sometimes (only when my husband is home) just to poop in peace and by peace I mean him banging on the door to open up lol

I had to nurse my first while pooping before. Husband was in the other bathroom so it was either him or I he went to the bathroom with.

Yep! Just make sure to close toilet lid before you flush. So much stuff flies out of your toilet when it flushes! Other than that get used to never going poo alone again LOL
