Leave my parents?

I'm sorry if this is long but I'm really done right now.

My parents found out about boyfriend yesterday and we had a huge fight.

They dont know him but they hate him. He's tattoed and has piercings and they're just not what my parents want as a son in law. They wanted me to get married to their friends son but I cant and wont do that.

My boyfriend was there for me all the time when they werent, they've never been at home always at work or trips. He's been nothing but respecful and kind and protective over me, loving and caring.

They said he looks like a drug addict and called him a pedophile because he's 20 and I'm 17!!!! I'm turning 18 in a few months but I honestly dont want to live with them until then and in our family you need your parents approval before getting married. He told me to go back and make up with them but I think they've been extremely disrespectful towards him and I can't forgive them that but I feel so bad.......

I tried to talk to them but they dont care.

What am I supposed to do now? I won't leave him for people who don't even know my favorite color or food. Even if they're my parents. He said its no big deal if they tell the police we can 'hide' these few months but I dont want him to get into trouble.

I already posted this in another group but I really need some advice.
