Your opinion on genetic testing
October Mommies - what are your thoughts on genetic tests?
I'm due Oct 23, so coming up I have the test for downs where they measure the fluid in the neck. I have also been given the option of having a panorama test, which my Dr. referred to as the "Rolls Royce of genetic testing".
I'm 28, not a high risk patient and neither my husband nor myself have family history of genetic disorders. I'm already an anxious person and I've read that there's a high risk of false negatives. Regardless, I would not terminate my pregnancy.
Is it really worth the additional stress and worry?
