I've had Mirena for a total of 7 years and I had it taken out March of 2015. We are trying to concieve but I have no idea why I'm not getting a normal monthy period or how to get my ovulation down. I've also read that 80% of couples concieve a full year after an iud is removed but that doesn't explain the crazy cycle. In February the doctor put me on progesterone to induce a period and will have to do it again every 3 months if I don't get them regularly.

TMI- my breasts get tender and my cervix sits high so I think I'm going to get my period or ovulate but there's just nothing more to it.

Has anyone had the same issue with an iud or a dufficult cycle and successfully concieved? Any advice?
