Earliest US showing baby?

Question

Just curious how early you were able to have a successful ultrasound showing baby and/or heartbeat?  I had complications with my first and had to have US at 6wks and was able to see, hear both and am now pregnant with 3rd and am spotting at "5wks" (by dates) but wondering if I should even try for US this early.

I had my first US today (5+6) and we saw the sac!

Went and got one today :). 5wks, 2days!

I had an ultrasound at 5+5 and was able to see sac,baby, heartbeat. And hear the heartbeat

Im 6w today and had my first. Didnt see or hear nothing. Therefore couldnt rule out ectopic just yet.  I go back in 2 weeks for another scan! Hopefully we see/hear sumthing!!
