My MIL

I don't like her and it kills my husband. I have to watch my mouth when I'm near her because everything I say can be twisted and used against me later.

I once said my husband's step mom was "funny" as in peculiar and she gives my husband shit about it still ... She says I had no right to say that in front of her, she says she's not funny and she's a bitch. Basically she's jealous because she thinks I like the step mom better. She also likes to bash my family, especially my mom and my/my husband's relationship with my mother ( my mom loves my husband ).

Sometimes I feel like I should just put up with it for my husband but I get horrible anxiety even driving past her building.

Am I awful? I feel like a bad person because I can't handle her.
